Unselfish Thinking!

In the last few months, I had the opportunity to Collaborate and Work for the Very Marginalised Sections of Our Society. I Learnt very soon that there’s Also a Way of Thinking About the World that can Change Our Entire Life: *Unselfish Thinking.* Think Unselfishly and We Can Make Ourself part of Something Bigger. That’s because Helping Others is Hugely Rewarding. But the Best thing about Unselfish Thinking is that it lets you Become Part of Something Much Bigger than Ourself. Collaboration is the Mother of Innovation – Shared Thinking Trumps Solo Thinking Every Time. Just as important is Striving to Adopt a Mentality Based on Collaboration rather than Competition. Cooperation happens when Our Aim is to Complete the Ideas of Others, Rather than One-Up Them. The Healthy Way of Seeing Success is as the Act of Achieving Something Great, whether it’s Creating Inspirational Art, Inventing a Life-Changing Product or *Empowering People to be Better.* With this Perspective on Success, We can...

Be Ambitious, Aim High and Work out the Details Later!

I have always tried to live by the philosophy that we should bite off more than we can chew – be ambitious, aim high and work out the details later. How much more? That’s for us to determine. If we know what we are capable of or worth then we need to stop at nothing till we get that. Imagine how painful it must be to have to ask ourself as we get older whether we could have achieved far more in our lives if only we had dared to aim higher? If everything seems under control, then we are not going fast enough and we should realize that this sense of not having everything under control may not be a bad thing. After all, feeling like we are on the fast track simply means that things are getting done, and things we had been planning are now set in motion. The key, we have to learn, is to not resist the speed of everything that’s happening, but to stay mindful to make sure it’s not getting the better of us. Taking on more than we can handle is necessary for moving forward—and when ...

Don't Stop, Don't Give Up. Keep Trying. We'll Get it Right!

In TV Series " Pickle Nation ", one of the Participant was asked, how did she get the Pickle Recipe so Perfect. Her answer was that she kept on failing and working on the recipe for many years till she got it right. I believe Everything begins with failing. What good is an idea if it remains an idea? Try. Experiment. Iterate. Fail. Try again. We can't always be winners the first time around. My Business Partner keeps telling me to try ten different things, till we get it right. It takes a while to learn, to experiment and to fine-tune. We often get frustrated; we may even entertain giving up because of the idea of failing. And we may have to go back to the drawing board several times before getting it right before we reach our goals and can celebrate our successes. When We Wanna Do Something that’s New. And it seems real. really Hard to Do. We feel like Quitting, we Feel we’re Through. Well, I have some advice: Don’t Ever Stop, Don’t Give Up, Keep on Trying. We'l...

Be Enthusiastic!

Swapna Burman, 6 toes in both legs, no money for special shoes. Father a Rickshaw Puller, Mother working in a Tea Garden, running for her Country in the final event of the Heptathlon with a bandaged jaw. She showed a lot of Enthusiasm and Hard Work on the field to bag a gold medal in Heptahalon event in the ongoing Asian Games. There is real magic in Enthusiasm. It spells the difference between Mediocrity and Accomplishment. The enthusiasm I believe is the most powerful Engines of Success. When we do a thing, do it with all our might. Put our Soul into it. Stamp it with our own Personality. Be Active, be Energetic, be Enthusiastic, be Faithful, and we will Accomplish our Object. Nothing great was ever achieved without Enthusiasm. Enthusiasm lights our fire and the fire of those around us. People enjoy being around Enthusiastic People. Enthusiasm produces creativity that overcomes obstacles and solves problems. To increase our Enthusiasm, we should think about our goals every day a...
