Have Patience!

A crisis has the power to bring people closer and can drive home hard lessons. We all are learning to Have Patience and it's indeed a tough lesson. Patience for me is the ability to endure a long wait calmly or deal with annoying problems without frustration. For Aristotle, patience was bitter but the fruit it bore was sweet. For Tolstoy, it was one of the two most powerful warriors, with the other being time. For Lao Tzu, it was one of the three greatest treasures to have, along with compassion and simplicity. When we face a situation like the present ongoing crisis, we need to remember that we all have an unlimited supply of patience available to us, it's just that we need not Lose Patience. To Lose Patience is to Lose the Battle. ~ Mahatma Gandhi. We all have been under the viral grip for months. And as we take baby steps to normality, rushing into festivities and going back to old ways of doing things is good. But I believe if we lose Patience & the dare to the viral g...

Never Stop Believing!

This week I saw this video of Ex Para Commando Deep Sengar who defied all odds to win over certain death, disability & career changing situations. Every time he faced any adversity, a magic wand would appear from somewhere, which was invariably a support/belief that helped him overcome the given difficult situation. As per him the Template of Life Never Changes, Each time life throws us in any difficult situation, the magic wand appears from somewhere, almost magically, to provide all the required support. It's just that we should Never Stop Believing in ourselves and our ability to overcome any difficult situations. Sometimes, our Potential is limited not by what we can do but by what we think we can do. I could relate to the given video with our own Startup Journey wherein every time we faced a roadblock or any difficult situation, we will find a magic wand appear from somewhere in the form of support/belief from unexpected quarters. We Never Stopped Believing in our endeavo...

Impossible is Nothing!

Impossible is just a word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is Nothing ~ Muhammad Ali. I read a given quote this week and I thought it was so relevant in the context of the present ongoing crisis. Many things which we had earlier construed as Impossible, have now become possible, Work From Home is one such example. Impossible is a word that We use to describe what We cannot do or what We think will not happen in our life. However, this ongoing crisis has changed this and I think 'Impossible is Nothing' can Inspire us to push our boundaries, set new goals, and achieve tasks which we think were impossible to do till now. I firmly believe that Impossible things do happen and that things can turn around even in the direst and difficult situations like the current crisis i...

Bounce Back!

In the recent past, I had come across this video in one of the College Whatsapp groups wherein a woman bounces back in Life using a five seconds trick. So every time during the day she experienced anything not Positive, she would count Five, Four, Three, Two, One to talk herself out of that moment, she would use the choice to go from autopilot to become a decision-maker. I believe it's so relevant in the context of the present ongoing crisis where many of us need to make the required changes, take decisions, and Bounce Back in Life. We have to probably do things that are difficult, uncertain, or scary. I think it's in our Interest to talk out to ourselves, change how we make our decisions, and Bounce Back. Success is how you Bounce Back after you hit Bottom ~ General George Patton. We have to talk out to ourselves when the ongoing crisis passes, what fundamental changes will it leave behind? And how can we adapt the way we work and live, to meet that “New Normal”? In our Start...
