Be A Wantrepreneur!

Recently I came across this term *"Wantrepreneurs"* and it made me thinking of so many of my Ex-Colleagues and friends who have shared with me that how many times they have said it in their mind "I quit". They dream it again and again, they dream about starting a company and walking into their boss's office and quitting their job. What's stopping them? Oh, about a million things including their EMIs and family. But they have an idea, and they are sure it's a good idea. *Now the question they keep asking if there is a way where they take their good idea and turn it into a company while they still have their day job?* *- Test Your Idea Like Crazy.* Just because you have a great idea does not mean the market is going to agree. Ideas are worthless until you get them out of your head to see what they can do. *- Look for Co-Founder Who Fits Like a Glove.* Startups are tough, and they are even tougher when you try to do them alone. While there are plen...

Its Okay To Feel Stuck!

In the last few years have met friends who are midway through their career and feel stuck, they are not alone. Maybe work doesn’t feel meaningful anymore, or their industry has drastically evolved, or their values and interests have changed. No matter what, they are 40-something self is a very different person from the 20-something they were when they started out. The fact that this is such a common experience doesn’t make it any easier to handle when it’s happening to them. This crisis can be a profound one. They have invested a great deal of time, energy, money, and education in their career. They have established a solid network and credentials. They may have a certain lifestyle — and the accompanying financial obligations — to keep up with. Maybe they are hoping to put kids through college and retire in the not-too-distant future. At the same time, they realize that if they don’t make a change now, they may never do it. When you find yourself at this difficult juncture in your...

The Successful Business Formula !

Yesterday one of my Partners shared quote attributed to the legendary Zig Ziglar “You don’t build a business – you build people – and then people build your business" It made me thinking of the importance of people in our business and life. Every successful business uses this formula. To understand, I suggest we ask questions like: How do you treat the people around you on a daily basis? Who are the People you choose to collaborate, work along with you? Do you show them how much they mean to you? Do you support them in every way possible? This doesn’t just apply to business; it's a formula for success at home and in life. What can you do on a daily basis to support your family and friends? Become self aware on how your actions (or inactions) affect the people in your life and business. Your words must be positive. Your actions must be constructive. Your personal/professional goals must be aligned. Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊

The Importance of Humility

I have seen many in their Business /Corporate Career, after years of hard work pursuing their Dream, these self-motivated high achievers reach the pinnacle of success that’s so richly deserved. And — you guessed it; they let success go to their head. Whatever happened to being humble? These folks think they’re so special. They buy expensive “toys” to show how successful they’ve become, and they push aside the very colleagues who’ve helped them achieve this success. They abandon the values and principles that have made them successful. And worse yet, because they’re successful in one area of their life, they come to think they’re experts in everything. Why? They’re so enamored with their own PR that their ego hardly fits in the room. They forget a swelled ego can cut short the payoff that these folks worked so hard to attain. And more importantly, the position of power they hold, may not be there forever. The simple truth is that not everyone treats success the same. Some people...
