Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!
This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart. If we are our authentic selves, we will have no competition. I believe Hard times arouse an instinctive desire in us to Be Authentic.
As a part of our uneasiness towards change, we tend to resist anything that feels uncomfortable, scary, different and new. We tend to play small even, to resist being seen and evaluated. To resist the unknown. Being Uncomfortable brings engagement and change. Doing Uncomfortable work means we’re doing something that others were unlikely to do because they’re hiding out in their comfort zone. I have seen with Many that there’s so much they want to do, and they have so many ideas they want to explore, that they struggle to take action on any of them. That discomfort, fear, or uncertainty paralyzes them. That’s the point where they start listening to their doubts about themselves and others. To me, If we Do Uncomfortable work, then we’re ultimately doing something Right.
Surrendering to the outcome for me means not worrying about the change, the uncertain parts of tomorrow. It is the bold and brave release of control and of the comfort zone. When we invite spontaneity, let ourselves be “in the flow,” and when we’re able to trust that everything will get done, it opens us up to more creativity, serendipity, and unexpected benefits such as joy, balance, and better health. Learning to surrender enables us to wish others well, and then we can refocus on energy on our own opportunities, talents, skills, and assets. I strongly believe that Surrendering to the Outcome helps expand creativity and enables Goal Attainment.
Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
