For Every Setback, There is a Comeback!

Image
This week the Vikram lander made a soft landing on the moon. For Stratupreneur like me, the moon landing embodied the true spirit of entrepreneurship while being frugal. India is the first country to land near the south pole of the moon. Aman Gupta, Co Founder at wearables brand boAt, very aptly said:"For every setback, there is a Comeback. Chandrayaan-3 is our comeback story." Similarly, in the ongoing World Athletics Championships, there are numerous stories of Athletes who made a comeback by winning Gold after suffering setbacks in their lives. For All of us Life is an unpredictable journey, often presenting us with challenges that seem insurmountable. However, it's crucial to remember that setbacks are not the end of the road; they are merely stepping stones towards a triumphant comeback. When we encounter setbacks, whether they're personal, professional, or even societal, we have the innate ability to rise above them. These setbacks, though disheartening, provide...

Don't Blame Others!

Image
I keep sharing with my Team that in our Startup Jeevitam where we are trying to Solve the Problem at a Scale which is unprecedented, use Technology which is Innovative & Evolving, many times things will not go the way we had planned. And when it does happen (which happens many times), while we are looking at the reasons, I keep telling my Team not to blame any individual while doing the assessment. We need to relook at the Process, retest the system and try everything to make the whole experience people agnostic i.e. irrespective of the person who is managing the experience, things should go as planned. In my experience when we assign blame to someone, in our mind we are trying to make others accountable. However, Blaming Others does not solve a problem, it usually only makes people defensive, nobody wants to accept the blame, it's quite natural. We forget, when We Blame Others, We give up the Power to Change Ourselves. "If we are looking to inspire people then blaming is ...

Freedom to Get Inspired!

This morning while going through Newspapers & various messages shared over WhatsApp, I came across three stories which I felt were truly inspirational and thought of sharing with you all. The first story is of Murlikant Petkar, a war hero and the winner of India's first-ever Paralympics gold medal. He won the gold in the 50m freestyle (swimming) in 1972 in Heidelberg, Germany with then world record time. And that after he has sustained multiple bullet wounds, nine to be precise, in the 1965 India-Pakistan war. That he was alive was a miracle. But he did not give up and went on to win multiple international medals thereafter to make his feat one of the greatest ever achievements in the history of Indian sport. It involved a huge amount of hard work and it was all about passion and determination to Not Give Up. The will to do something for the country, even Nine Bullets could not stop him. There was never an option to give up. He started swimming as a sport after his injuries, be...

Happy Friendship Day!

Today is Friendship Day, and I thought it was a special occasion to honor the cherished friendships I have made throughout my life. Among the most enduring and heartwarming relationships are those I formed with my school and college friends. These friendships had a unique essence, blending nostalgia, shared experiences, and growth together. School friends were the first to join me on my journey of self-discovery. From playful days on the playground to navigating the ups and downs of adolescence, they played a pivotal role in shaping my personality. The innocence and joy of these friendships remain etched in my heart, even as time took us on different paths. College friends, on the other hand, ushered me into adulthood. Together, I navigated the complexities of academics and career choices. The late-night study sessions, impromptu adventures, and shared aspirations forged a strong bond that stood the test of time. As I grew older, I realized that these friendships were invaluable treasu...
