Happy New Year 2024!

Image
I have been writing my Sunday Blogs with the theme *Keep Moving & Smiling* for over seven years now. On the last day of the Year I thought of sharing a compilation of My Sunday Blogs for the Year 2023 with You All. While going through my Blogs of the year 2023, there were three broad themes which emerged for the Year 2024. First, I believe *Uncertainty will be theme* for the Year 2024. In the Year 2024, there will elections in around 50 Nations across the world including two largest demoracies ie India and US. These elections bring lot of Uncertainty along with them. In these elections, who will win and lose is always anyone's guess and pre & post election activities bring along with them a fair amount of instability in important decision making. Besides, the Global Conflicts like Russia-Ukraine, Israel-Gaza etc also bring along with them fair amount of uncertainty. Will these conflicts escalate, when will they cease is always anybody's guess. Also, post pandemic world ...

As we are in the last few days of the Year'2023, it's also a time to reflect into the year gone by. As I look back into the Year'2023, one theme for me which stands out this year was *Growth* of Everything around us. Growth of the New Business Models, Growth in the way we Interact with Technology, Growth of the Global Economies & New Markets, Growth in Environmental Awareness and Sustainable & Inclusive Growth as predominant themes. In various realms, from technology to personal development, the past twelve months have witnessed remarkable growth. The tech landscape saw unprecedented growth in 2023, with breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, sustainable technologies, and the integration of cutting-edge innovations. From smart cities to quantum computing, the year marked a transformative period in the way we perceive and interact with technology. Global economies rebounded with resilience, showcasing remarkable growth trajectories. World is Now One Marketplace. ...

Time for Reflection and a Time to Move Forward!

The month of December for me is a month of reflection, I look into the year gone by and reflect on the Opportunities and Possibilities of the Year. I reflect whether I could turn my obstacles into opportunities and my problems into possibilities. Looking back on this year, I can't help but marvel at the immense transformation I've undergone. Life threw its fair share of curveballs, testing my resilience and pushing me to my limits. But amidst the storm, I discovered a strength I never knew I possessed, and emerged more resilient, wiser, and fundamentally changed. I learned to navigate uncertainty, embrace vulnerability, and find solace in introspection. This journey of transformation wasn't easy, but it was undeniably necessary. Today, I stand taller than ever before, with a deeper understanding of my strengths and weaknesses. The scars of the past serve as a reminder of my resilience, and the lessons learned guide me towards a future filled with hope and possibility. Thoug...

Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance!

Image
This week again I read through one of my all time favourite books, 'Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance' by Angela Duckworth. This book focuses on the concept of Grit, which the author defines as a combination of passion and perseverance, as the key to achieving long-term success. I could relate so many chapters in the book to my Entrepreneurial Journey of Many Years which has been All about Passion and Perseverance. *Grit* for me is Having Stamina, *Grit* for me is Sticking Out with My Future, Day in Day Out, Not for the Weeks, Not for the Months But For Years together. And Working Really Hard to Make that Future of mine a Reality. *Grit* for me is Living Life Like a Marathon, Not a Sprint. Growth Mindset is a Great Idea to Building *Grit.* I have experienced that Success doesn’t come overnight and Patience is Essential to Meeting Our Goals. And We have to be Willing to Fail, to be Wrong, to Start Over Again with Lessons Learnt. It is true that We should Do something W...

Have the Courage!

This week while seeing one of the serials on OTT, the leading Actress had some inspirational lines to share on 'Courage'. As per her, to survive in this world, we all need Courage, Guts. Courage to follow unconventional paths in life. Courage to be vulnerable. Courage to let go of what doesn't feel right. Courage to put yourself out there and take chances. Courage to settle for nothing less than you deserve. Courage to always go after what you really, really want. I am totally in Sync with the Inspirational lines on Courage shared by her. Courage for me is indeed a valuable attribute that can be very helpful in navigating life's challenges. I believe it can help us overcome fear, take risks, and face difficult situations with confidence and determination. We have seen in the recent past that world can often be uncertain and unpredictable, having courage can be particularly important. It can help us persevere through difficult times, push past obstacles, and make the tou...
