Why are we not having enough conversation?

Conversation plays a very important role in our Personal/Business life. We need communication to express our needs, thoughts, and opinions to others and conversation is important in communication. Every conversation is an opportunity to share and to learn.

So, last week, I was catching up with some old friends at a restaurant. We were reminiscing on some good times, enjoying some delicious food, and having some great laughs. At one point, my eyes ended up wandering to a nearby table and noticed something odd. At that particular table of six, everyone was silent. They all had their phones in their hands and they were just typing away. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they had a long day and they were just unwinding. The next thing that I noticed blew my mind: they were all communicating with each other through a group text. When someone posted something, they all laughed, exchanged a few words, and their heads were once again, buried in their screens.

With each passing day, I am finding that more and more people’s main form of communication is from behind a screen. Even I have been guilty of too much screen time as well. The art of face-to-face conversation is dying and it is starting to become more obvious with the passing of each year. Social individuals are now being shunned and deemed as strange.

The thing is, a conversation isn't hard, we just make it that way. Sometimes the greatest adventure is simply a conversation.
A lot of relationships are spoiled due to lack in conversation. An open conversation has the ability to solve most of the life issues. We must avoid unwanted EGO and have a frank conversation to solve a lot of unwanted misunderstanding in our life. Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
