Thank You! Thank You!! Thank You!!

This Week I Was Watching the Movie " Munna Bhai MBBS " in which the scene begins with an Elderly Sweeper Mopping the Floor. The Floor is all Wet and Sanjay Dutt Accidently Walks Over Leaving stains. The Sweeper in an Irritated Mood Cribs. Sanjay Dutt Stops and Hugs Him (Jadu Ki Jhappi) . On Seeing the Confused Look on the Guys Face, Dutt explains to Him That if He Wasnt There the Hospital Would have Never been Clean Enough to Cure the Patients. Dutt says Thank You and Moves on Much to the Delight of the Sweeper. There is No Loss in Saying Thank You to Someone Whom We Feel Deserves It, May Give a Jadu ki Jhappi . We Make a Living By What We Get, But We Make a Life by What We Give. We Should Thank for Everything in Our Life, The Good and Not Good. Some May Be Blessings and Some May Be Lessons. Being Thankful and Expressing Our Gratitude is an Important Part of Being Happy in Life. Finding the Proper Way to Thank Others for Their Generosity or Even Reminding Ourselves Just Ho...

So, How are Things Now?

A Day Doesn’t Go by When Someone Doesn’t Ask Us This Question – “So, How Are Things Now?” We do our Best to Answer The Question, and Usually, get Responses that Range from Skepticism to Extreme Positive Surprise and Everything Else in Between. What We are Unable to Give in These Short Discussions is Context, and All the Details That Have Made Our Entrepreneurial Journey Excruciating, Yet Special. And Here Are The Things We Learnt About Ourselves : 1) * Entrepreneurship is Lonely .* A great Co-Founder is Often the Difference Between Hope and Despair. 2) * Family Support is Key. * Some of the most Stressful Times at Work Melt Away in the Simple Joyful Moments at Home. Your Family Will Always be Your Oasis. 3)  *Leadership Under Fire is Who You Really Are.* Tough times Bring Out Either the Best or the Worst in You. Strong Leadership is not about Being Hard in Harsh Times. It is About Being Clear, Calm and Confident in Challenging Times. 4)  *Don’t let Skeptics Discour...

Seeking Out Help and the Value of Being There for Someone!

Today Morning I Received an Inspiring Story of Turnaround by a Leading Market Player in India from My Mentor. I am Sharing few Interesting Excerpts from the Story which We Feel Relevant to Our Story Too. There are Times in Each of Our Lives where We Feel that Everything that Could Go Wrong is Going Wrong, and There is Just No Respite. One of the Most Incredible Lessons from the Last Few Years of Our Entrepreneurial Journey has been the Concept of Fair-Weather Friends. It’s Easy, but Not Correct to Judge - for Good or Bad - a Story by the Chapter One Walks in On. In our Corporate Career, Myself & My Partner's had Made a lot of Friends. When the Times were Good, a lot of Celebrations Used to Happen – and with that came a lot of Inbound Requests for Introductions, Linkedin Invites (have over 14 K Connections). Funnily, a Lot of These People that We Called for Help and Support in Last Few Years, Wouldn’t even Return Our Calls or Emails. However, Some Did, and We are Glad we Neve...

Three Life Lessons to Share : Be a Lifelong Learner; Be Passionate and Help Others Rise, Build The Future!

This week in Whatsapp Groups, I saw the video of Indra Nooyi, the Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, where she shares Three Important Life Lessons. *Be a Lifelong Learner*. Indra urges people to be Lifelong Students. "Our World is Changing Rapidly all Around Us, and if We want to Continue to Thrive in the Years Ahead, We will need to Continually Educate Ourself.” And, through Continous Learning and Improving, We will ultimately feel More Rewarded, More Fulfilled, and More Enthusiastic about Our Work and Lives. *Be Passionate* about Whatever We Do, Throw Ourself Into it. Throw Our Head, Heart, and Hands into it. She says ” I Look at My Job Not as a Job but as a Calling and a Passion.I Don’t Care about Hours, Hardships because Everything is a Joy. ” So, Whatever We Do, We Need to Look upon it as a Calling, as a Passion, Not as a Job, Not as Something Temporary. We Can Do Anything as long as We have the Passion, the Drive, the Focus, and the Support. Nothing is as...

We Shall Overcome Someday; Oh, Deep in My Heart, I Do Believe, We Shall Overcome Someday!

Yesterday Night I heard the song while watching an Indian Movie. The Song has Very Simple but at the same time Extremely Powerful Lyrics. The Repetition of the Verses Underlines the Positivity of the Words. It's Not Only a Message of Hope, but it also represents the Certainty of a Better Future. Any Good Work, Good Intentions Face Hindrances. We may Face a Difficulty in the Beginning, but We will Achieve it, No Matter What. An Obstacle is a Lesson. And each Lesson Makes Us Better. The Best Way to treat Obstacles is to use them as stepping-stones. Laugh at them, Tread on them, and let them lead you to Something Better. We always Look for the Circumstances We Want, but if We can’t find them, We Can Make One. Isn’t It? We can always take a Limitation and Turn it into an Opportunity; Take an Opportunity and Turn it into an Adventure by Dreaming BIG! The fact that it is so Easy to Relate to the Song is also one of its Many Strengths, in fact One can Address its Message to Different...
