Aspirations!

In the last couple of months I had the opportunity to interact with hundreds of Street Food Chefs for Training Programs being conducted across India. One thing stood out and consistent among all was their Aspiration to Do Good in Life. *Ek Nai Pehchan Meri Apni Dukaan* (Getting a New Identity of having my own Shop) was every Street Food Chef's *Aspiration*. I believe that We cannot always seek Achievements for Ourselves and Forget about Progress and Prosperity of the Communities Around Us. Our Ambitions Must be Broad Enough to Include the Aspirations of Others, for Their Sakes and For Our Own.

To Understand the Heart and Mind of a Person, Look Not at What He Has Already Achieved, But At What He Aspires To. Aspirations Forms the Plot of Our Success. It takes a Certain Level of Aspiration before One can Take Advantage of Opportunities and Possibilities That Are Clearly Offered. To Accomplish Great Things in Life We Must Not Only Act, But Also Aspire; Not Only Plan, But Also Believe. When Aspirations are Perceived to be Achievable, Ambition and Drive Can Erase Excuses. Achievement is Largely the Product of Steadily Raising One's Level of Aspiration.

The Person with Big Dreams & Aspirations is More Powerful Than one With All the Facts. The Most Absurd and Reckless Aspirations have Sometimes Led to Extraordinary Success. We are Never too Old to Set Another Goal or to Dream a New Dream. We Have to Have a Big Vision and take Very Small Steps to Get There. We Have to be Humble as We Execute But Visionary and Gigantic in Terms of Our Aspiration. Far Away There in The Sunshine are Our Highest Aspirations. We May Not Reach Them, But We can Look Up and See Their Beauty, Believe in Them, and Try to Follow Where They Lead.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
