Start with WHY?

This week I read the book "Start with WHY" by Simon Sinek. I am Sharing Few Pointers Relevant in Our Life & Business. In his book, Simon argues about the “What, How and WHY” of Doing Things and How often We Fail to See the results because We Spend a Lot of Time Talking about the What and How and Fail to Tackle the Most Important Part i.e. “WHY”. WHY we should be doing X? WHY we should hear this talk? WHY are we here today? WHY are we going to work every day. Simon argues that if We Start with WHY and I tend to agree with him, we are Likely to See a Lot More Positive Results.

Start with WHY Gets to the Bottom of WHY certain Businesses and People are far more Innovative and Successful than Others - even in situations where everyone has the same Access to Technology, Resources, and People. If Everyone Found their WHY, we’d all feel Fulfilled By Our Work.Whether we are an Entrepreneur, an Employee, a Leader of a team, or Are Looking to Find Clarity on Our Next Move, our WHY is the One Constant that will Guide us toward Fulfillment in Our Work And Life. The time to Find Our WHY is When We want to Find It. If we Seek Change, Want to Carve Out a New Path that Sets Us apart from Others and Lays the Foundation for the Future, We are Ready to Discover Our WHY.

Knowing our WHY Enhances our Ability to Attract People who Believe in What we Believe, People Willing to Help Us and the People We want to Help. When We have a clear sense of Why We Do What We Do, We are Better able to make Decisions that Steer our Life in ways that contribute directly towards our Purpose, Cause or Belief. In order to be Successful to bring WHY to Our Life, We Need Balance, We Must Have Clarity of our WHY, be Disciplined About How We Do Things and Consistent in What We Do. When All these Three Pieces are in Balance, we will be Better able to Find Fulfillment in All Things We Do in Our Life and Business.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
