Relationships!

Yesterday while I was speaking to My Mentor, I was sharing with Him How our Relationship had Evolved in the Last One Year and How Relationship with My Business Partner had Grown Over the Years. In the Very early Stage of My Startup, I had realized that I Need to Get Out of My Comfort Zone and Go Out to Meet People. Being out there makes Good Things Happen. shake hands. Do Lunches. Show Genuine Interest. Spread the Goodwill. I was Clear that Before Someone will Lend me a Hand, I Need to Touch Their Heart. And that Business and Life is All About Relationships.

Over the Years I have Learnt that Business and Life are All about Forging Human Bonds. People Want to Know that You are Real. That You are Decent, Kind and Trustworthy. They Want to Sense You and Look into Your Eyes to see What You are Made Of. They Want to Know Your Passion for Whatever itis You Stand For. And When they Sense that You are the Real Deal, They will Open Up to You. When They See that You Have Their Best Interests in Mind, They will Trust You—and Keep Your Best Interests in Mind. Once they Get That You are Good, They’ll Be Good to You. And Your Business & Life will go to Places Based on Those Trust Connections. People Do Business, Work and Make Friends with People They Like—and Who Make Them Feel Good.

I Believe Healthy Relationships--Those that are Mutually Caring and Giving--are Necessary for Personal Success. Everyone needs Someone to Learn From and Share Ideas with. Good Relationships offer Understanding when We Fail, Confidence when We're in Doubt, and Celebration as We Go through Life. They also Allow Us Opportunities to Give, to Mentor, and to Share. Take time to Nurture and Appreciate the Relationships that Make a Difference in Our Business and Our Life.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
