See Things Differently!

This week I read through an article posted by Norm Brodsky in Inc.com on what he believes, is the one quality that distinguishes a true entrepreneur from any other business­person. His answer was, the ability to see things differently. As per him, A true entrepreneur is able to look at a situation and identify an opportunity, or a solution to a problem, or a path around an obstacle that, for some reason, everyone else has missed.

I believe in our Personal & Professional Life, As soon as we open our mind to seeing things differently, the doors of opportunity practically fly off their hinges. To find solutions to our problems, we must look at them from different perspectives. Looking at the world through a single lens makes everything appear the same. To see things differently, we must perceive them differently.

We need to constantly search for individuals and experiences that will challenge our way of thinking and lead us to see things differently. We need to talk with people who make us see the world differently. If we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change. Risk more than others think is safe. Dream more than others think is practical. Expect more than others think is possible. Try to See things differently now.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
