Conviction, Confidence & Courage!
I did some Campus Interviews last week and could find that while most of the students did possess strengths and skills required, but what was missing big time in them was the conviction, confidence, and courage to take up the jobs being offered to them. What they all clearly needed was to have a deep conviction to pursue their creative gifts, the confidence to always be themselves, and the courage to follow their dreams.
All of us have made mistakes, experienced failure and felt disappointment in our lives. I know I certainly have had more than my fair share. Some of us have also been subjected to hardships and injustices. All these experiences affect a person’s Conviction, Confidence, and Courage. I keep telling myself that it is important to remember that our past does not have to dictate our future. The only thing that matters is how we act today. We need to act with conviction, confidence & courage while pursuing any goal. A willingness to just go for it, to believe in ourselves no matter what, and stick with it when all the obstacles get in our way.
In the last few years have realized, we first need to have conviction in what we do. If don't, we will not be able to do it well, we will not have the required confidence and courage to do it. And for that conviction to have, we need to identify with something larger than ourselves. With complete conviction will come courage to take a stand, the courage to make a difference, the courage to fall down and get up again. And with that courage will come to the confidence to walk the talk, make the difference and lead full filing life. When we take a stand and agree to commit to a goal or plan, we’ll find the confidence, courage, and conviction we need, deep within, to keep moving forward.
Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
