Straight from the Heart!

This week again I was standing in front of the audience much more in experience. At the end of the session, they all liked what I spoke because they felt I spoke Straight from the Heart. I believe Speaking Straight from the Heart is not about the right time or place but about doing the right thing, it is not about reacting but about being interactive, it’s not about frustration but about staying engaged and connected. When we Speak from the Heart there are no assumptions or judgment. We are just relating to a deeper level.

By doing things Straight from the Heart We can be more positive, We can help the people around us, We can be a little bit better at being us every day. To be happier in life, we need to do meaningful work. We need to do work that ignites our passion, work that excites us. I’m happiest when I know the work I’ve done is impacting someone in a positive way. That’s what allows me to be the best version of my self. I can only live with my self when I know I’ve tried. I can only love what I do if I put in my 100%. I can only be me and stop trying to be anyone else if I do things Straight from the Heart.

Our work is going to fill a large part of our life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what we believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what we do. If we haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, we'll know when we find it. When in a bind, allow the heart to lead and let the mind follow. Speak your mind but let your heart do the talking. In business, as in life, Let the Heart speak where difficulty resides. Whatever we do, we should do it Straight from the Heart, I believe that’s the only way to connect with people and to love what we do.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
