Do Well By Doing Good!

This week while attending a Seminar, one of our Ministers made a statement that Doing Well by Doing Good is very much possible. This statement stuck with me as “Doing Well” means a person is content, in good health, or successful. And “Doing Good” means an individual is performing good acts in the world. For many entrepreneurs like us, the phrases are now interchangeable. We will notice that many successful businesses built in our time – Google, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter – were started by people who believed they had a powerful idea that could change the world: the way we communicate, exchange goods, build relationships, and consumer news. Today’s most successful companies often trigger major developments that improve the world and make our lives easier. In today’s world, it is very much possible to run a healthy, successful Business and Life that are doing good things in the world.

At Jeevitam, our Livelihood Platform we believe that doing well by doing good may mean giving someone a chance when they need it most. Whether they come from a less privileged educational background or have numerous other circumstances working against them, it doesn’t mean they shouldn’t get a great opportunity to work for or work along with a promising company. We believe everyone needs a platform to prove they can do something great -- we propose to be the catalyst to bring hope and a bright future to someone who may be struggling to find it. Over the years I have experienced that when we work at something we are passionate about, we are much more likely to see sustainable success. And if it’s something we love, there’s a good chance we will do some good in the world. Human relationships drive the success of our business and, if our choices are dictated by doing right by others, we will likely Do well and Do Good.

I think the ability to merge the ideas of “doing good” and “doing well” is not just a skill or a personal quality — it’s a life philosophy. My Startup Journey over the years have not been easy, there have been plenty of challenges, uncertainties, and setbacks. However I have seen if we truly believe in the power of our idea, the talents of our team, and the purpose of our solution, remaining positive will help turn it into a success. When we are positive and believe in serving others, we automatically align our actions to benefit others. I think if we apply this philosophy to our Life and Business, they both will do well and do good. The biggest and brightest festival of India, Diwali symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance and Doing Well by Doing Good. I Wish All a Very Happy & Prosperous Diwali and the spirit of Doing Well by Doing Good remains with you always.

Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
