There is Light at the End of the Tunnel!
This week one video sent by my friend from the Middle East stood out in the context of the present crisis. I am sharing few excerpts: "Accept that we have no control over the situation. Let go of any thoughts of trying to plan too much for the next month or two, things change so fast. Don't be angry and annoyed at the system. Anxiety goes down. You make the best of the situation, whatever that might be for you. Accept that this is what it is, and things will get easier. Try not to listen to, read or watch too much media - it will drive you crazy, there is a thing as too much. The sense of community I have felt during this time is incredible. Appreciate this enforced downtime. To those beginning this journey, you will get through it, listen to what you are told, follow the rules, look out for each other, There is a Light at the End of the Tunnel.
The scale and magnitude of the present ongoing crisis are unimaginable. Besides the medical crisis, another crisis that is unraveling now is the crisis of Livelihood. Millions of citizens across the world have lost their livelihoods in the past many months. In the present circumstances, it may seem very hard to get to it, but I believe we can do it. It's just that we need to keep working towards it and we will soon find the positive side of things. When there is darkness all around, we have two choices: draw our attention to the fear or direct our focus towards the light. When we focus on the glimmer of light in the darkness of the tunnel, we renew our faith and trust that relief will soon follow.
No matter what we are going through, I strongly believe there's a Light at the End of the Tunnel. No matter how bad things are right now, it will be better soon. No matter how stuck we may feel, we will find innovative solutions to the problems. No matter how many days we may spend at home, we will find innovative ways to work. No matter how many days we may spend wishing things were different, we will unlearn and learn new ways of doing things. No matter how hopeless and depressed we may feel, things are going to look up again. There is light at the end of the tunnel if we all keep safe.
Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
