Choose And Execute the Right Approach!

Last whole one month has been very demanding, I have been on overdrive, reading as much and speaking to as many to understand the present ongoing crisis, choose and execute what is the right approach for myself and Our Startup Jeevitam. This week I read through this book 'Your Strategy Needs a Strategy'. When the environment is so harsh because of the present ongoing crisis, for all of us the usual way of doing things has/will become unsustainable, it's a fact. Accordingly, there is a dire need for each one of us to drastically change course. We have to go through the renewal journey to survive and stay relevant.

As recommended by the authors of the book, there are two parts of this renewal journey. In the first part of the renewal journey, we must have a strong look at current expenses and take quick & effective decisions to remove all impediments to survival. The second part of the renewal journey will involve turning to an adaptive approach, which is very important in the current environment where everything is unpredictable, hard to plan for and shape. We must continuously change how we do things in life and business by constantly creating new options, and exploiting the best option before repeating the cycle.

In the last one month in our Startup Jeevitam, we have been running experiments with innovative ideas like Digital Job Fairs, Digital Campus Placement, PhonePeKaam, etc to determine which ideas suggest the highest growth potential. Secondly, we have been working on and selecting business models/ways that show the most promising results while discontinuing the unsuccessful ones. Lastly, we are now trying to scale up the successful experiments and put resources to good use. I have learned in the last one month that we need to Be Fast, Be First, Be Big, Be the Orchestrator or simply Be Viable. To survive, We have to choose and execute the right approach.

Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
