Be Open, Be Impatient, Be Hopeful!
This week Google CEO Sundar Pichai had a special message for the graduating class of 2020, urging them to be open, be impatient and be hopeful, and exuded confidence that they have a “chance to change everything”. I believe his message is relevant for all of us in context present ongoing crisis. For me Being Open means welcoming new ideas, arguments, and information that we typically do not align with. It is so important for all of us in today's context to be open, to step out of our comfort zones, to consider & adapt new ideas and different perspectives.
I believe Impatience is a motivator. Inspiration spawns the desire and impatience gets us acting on that desire. If we find ourselves generally impatient, which I am many times, it might be a signal that we have untapped creative energy bubbling inside of us. We need to Release this energy and put it to use! Impatient people like me are often happy to wait. But then we want a form of guarantee that the wait will pay off. Over the years I have experienced that If we are impatient, we will never hit a dead end, we will always be able to use the ingredients gathered to create value in some way, shape, or form.
To be hopeful is to look on the future positively, we at our Startup Jeevitam always see opportunities in challenges (rather than challenges in opportunities), we always try to look on the bright side of the events. Hope also makes us resilient and courageous. Hope is a resource that we can grow, give, and share together. Hope allows people like us at Jeevitam, to approach problems with a mindset and strategy-set suitable for success, thereby increasing the chances that we will actually accomplish our goals. Hum honge kaamyaab!!
Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
