New Normal!

It has been more than three months now since the world is on a bumpy journey to a new destination and the New Normal. Now that many countries are easing their economic and social restrictions due to the present ongoing pandemic, there’s a lot of talk about 'The New Normal'. What does this mean? For me, It means a new way of living and going about our lives, work, and interactions with other people. Working from Home, Restricted Travel, Social Distancing, Wearing Masks, etc are all examples of our New Normal. I believe this ongoing crisis will be a once-in-a-generation global turning point, where many of the fundamentals of our social and economic life will be remade and a New Normal established.
For some Organisations/People, near-term survival is the only agenda item. Others are peering through the fog of uncertainty, thinking about how to position themselves once the crisis has passed and things return to normal. The question is, ‘What will normal look like?’. While no one can say how long the crisis will last, what we find on the other side will not look like the normal of recent years. The new normal will be different, and how we approach this volatile time will depend on how we adapt. In our Startup Jeevitam, we have adapted to the New Normal. We have reinvented ourselves to help Corporates do Remote Hiring, to work with Government bodies to do Skill Mapping & Match Making, to help Corporates build a Global Distributed WorkForce, etc.
I believe it is possible for all of us to make our own New Normal any way we want in our personal lives too. I also firmly believe We can start over our Life again! Even though we can be hurt or we may be feeling down — we have to stop kicking ourselves!! We need to Face what has happened. I think We all will be wasting our valuable time and energy that could be used to regain a New Normal and kickstart another version of Our Life. And as we move out of our comfort zone, what was once unknown and frightening, becomes our New Normal. The New Normal may even be a Better Normal, certainly a Different Normal.
Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
