Year 2020 is Year of Survival and Go Digital!

Lockdown was declared by the Governments with the onset of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Overnight everyone was forced to stay at home and this also forced everyone to Go DigitalPhysical Meetings got replaced with online meetings, seminars got replaced with webinars, office work got shifted to ‘Work from Home’. A Digital Transition started happening in the way we work and live. Students started attending online classes, doctors started with telemedicine, restaurants became cloud kitchens, everyday household Shopping became online, every possible product and services started getting booked online and got delivered at home. New Digital Normal got established.

However, everyone did not accept these overnight changes easily and there was a lot of resistance from many. Few waited for everything to go back to the traditional ways. They are also now slowly accepting that these changes are here to stay for some time at least and they have no other option but to Go Digital. In our Startup Jeevitam, since we are Tech-Enabled Livelihood Platform, the transition to Go Digital helped us reach out to our clients with Innovative Solutions. We launched Remote/Digital Hiring for Corporates, Digital Job Fairs with Labour Ministry, and Digital Skill Mapping with various Philanthropy Organizations & State Governments.

The year 2020 is a year of Survival and Go Digital, many have realized, its the only way to survive this crisis. There is no denying that the Coronavirus outbreak has provided a massive push for change, even it’s now a matter of necessity. I also believe probably it is the opportunity for everyone to reset the ways we live and work. We have realized that working from home is indeed possible and traveling as much can be avoided. Many are seeing opportunities to scale up, bring efficiencies in the way they work, and open new markets. I believe post this crisis also most of us are likely to adopt a hybrid model wherein both traditional & Digital practices may coexist. Go Digital & Do the Right Thing.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are.
