Look At the Bright Side!

 This week while speaking to one of my friends who is an Entrepreneur himself, asked me a question as to what's the difference between an Entrepreneur & a Startuprenure? I told him that to my mind there is only one Big Difference and that is a Startuprenure delves into Unchartered Waters & tries to create something which does not exist. Startuprenure questions the status quo and look for solutions that will make things better/efficient. And that is not easy at all as while doing so Startuprenure faces so much resistance to change which he is trying to bring in. Also while doing so one thing he has to learn very fast is to Always Remain Positive and Look at the Bright Side.

We've all heard it before: "Stay positive, look on the bright side — don't let things get you down." The fact of the matter is it's easier said than done. I have observed since the onset of the present ongoing crisis, initially fear of unknown froze Everyone, they got solace seeing everyone in Lockdown, got reassured that they are not alone and things will be back to normal soon. However, after being in a denial mode for a while, they realized that things have changed and this crisis is not ending soon. Now, resistance to change is not allowing them to look into the brighter side of the ongoing crisis. I believe in the context of the present ongoing crisis, we all need to have a Startuprenure Mindset and Reset the way We Live & Work.

In our Startup Jeevitam which is a Tech-Enabled Livelihood Platform, we are definitely Looking at the Brighter Side. We are onboarding more clients looking into the Livelihood Solutions our Platform is offering. We are seeing more Organizations getting open to Collaborate with us and work on Possibilities and Opportunities. Many of us are now able to spend more time with our family. We are able to see the change in the Climate. We have now become more health-conscious. We have become more empathetic to the people around us. We are now becoming a Global Distributed Workforce with everyone getting Digitally connected. I firmly believe it's all within us to Stay Positive & Look at the Brighter Side of Life.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
