2020, A Year of Transformation!


We all go through some sort of crisis in our life at some point in time. However, I believe it was for the first time in many years the whole world went through a crisis this year together. I feel the year 2020 may be called the Year of Transformation in many ways for all of us. Few lost their close ones to the crisis and their lives got transformed forever. Many lost their Livelihood and their lives got transformed in many ways. Lockdown forced people to work from home and the way we work got transformed. Working From Home made us spend more time with family and our personal lives got transformed. The point is everything we do now is different.

As our personal lives, our professional lives are practically unrecognizable from just nine months ago. The way we connect with friends & family, with co-workers & clients, and with our community at large has been transformed. Survive to Live and Survive in Our Livelihood is now the focus of all. Also, the era of a “gradual rollout” has now ended, forcing everyone to adapt overnight to a world fully reliant on digital & transformational changes. In our Startup Jeevitam, we have observed that our clients & stakeholders are now more open & receptive to new ways of doing things and New Ideas that are transformational. There is disruption all around and giving rise to innumerable opportunities.

As we look ahead to 2021, the experiences of this past year give me hope for better times and new opportunities. Remote work and bans on travel have opened up banks of time that give us the opportunity to focus more on what really matters. We have learned not to plan too much ahead. I know times are going to be still hard for many of us and there will still remain a lot of uncertainty. New Normal will get established, Future of Work will get evolved and We all will be required to allow the fires of transformation to burn away all that doesn't serve us. I am sure that we are all looking forward to closing 2020 and heading into a brand new year with optimism for better times ahead. Wishing You All a Very Happy & Prosperous New Year 2021.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
