Be Bold!

This week I read through the Book 'What it Takes, Lessons in the Pursuit of Excellence' by Stephen A Schwarzman, Chairman & Co-Founder of Blackstone. The story literally has what it takes: the anecdotes, the insights, and, most of all, the values to guide the next generation of Entrepreneurs. Of the 25 Rules of Work and Life shared by him, one rule which stuck with me, which I did find relevant in the context of today's situation, was to Be Bold. As per him all successful entrepreneurs, managers, and individuals have the confidence and courage to act when the moment seems right. They accept risk when others are cautious and take action when everyone else is frozen, but they do so smartly.

'The Doors will be opened to those who are Bold enough to Knock.' ~ Tony Gaskins. Even when the rest of the world was going through uncertainty, we at Jeevitam, our Startup, were as open to growth and opportunity as ever before. For me, the greatest rewards this year have come from being Bold enough to create something new, unexpected, and impactful. When people ask us how we succeed, our basic answer is always the same: We see a unique opportunity, and We are Bold enough to go for it with everything we have. We are strong believers in innovation and growth—constantly asking questions in order to anticipate events so that we can evolve and are bold enough to change before we are forced to. And We never give up.

I think many of us in the last nine months were bold enough to laugh in the face of fear, letting benefits outweigh risks and grabbing life by the horns! Many dumped the old and saw an opportunity to reset the way we work and live. Many saw this crisis as an opportunity to do something they've been always wanting or trying to do. Many attempted to try new things, acquire new skills, and accepted the newness of the skill acquired. Many took bold bets and risks with a clear Perspective that they may fail and they were ok with it. In the coming year let us be Bold enough to design our Life, push ourselves and get comfortable being uncomfortable. Let us be Out With The Old And In With The Bold.

Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
