Nurturing & Building Relationships!

The ongoing crisis has reshaped our personal & professional relationships in unprecedented ways, forcing us to live closer together with some people and further apart from others. Life in lockdown has necessitated close, constant contact with our families and partners, but social distancing measures have isolated us from our friends, client relationships, and wider communities. It has also changed the nature of work for everyone. For a person like me who is used to being out and about connecting with people and building relationships, almost everything about the way I work has changed. More than ever we all need to talk more, listen more and care for each other, building on what brought us together and what we want to see in the future.

The ongoing crisis is affecting our lives, so we need to adopt new ways to manage and nurture our personal & professional relationships, as they are massively important for getting us through this difficult time. Since the onset of the crisis, I realized early that it was important to build a routine for keeping in touch with my Business Partners, Clients, Friends & others as this helped in maintaining my relationship with them. Besides, I did find it helpful to talk to family, friends, and colleagues about how they were feeling as in doing so I ended up providing support to them, wherever required. Although, I still yearn for those personal meetings with friends & relatives, one to one strategic discussions with My Mentor & Partner over food, Events & Seminars.

Serving clients today and staying in touch with family & friends requires creativity and innovation. It’s about being resourceful in how and when we connect with them because we all want to feel connected right now. We at Jeevitam have been conducting weekly Webinars to build new relationships & manage existing relationships. In some ways, this sudden worldwide experiment might be a harbinger of positive change, at least when it comes to what we expect or need from our relationships. We all want to build back our lives and nurture & build our relationships in a more satisfying way,’ and I strongly believe maybe there’s an opportunity for that now.

Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
