Life Well Lived!

Yesterday I lost my Mamaji, the whole day was spent revisiting the moments and time I spent with him. He was my Dear Mamu. In my view, he lived his life well. He had traveled across the world, I remember him telling me has seen most of the places he wanted to see. He was a true family man and loved his nears and dears. In the last phase of his life, he became a hotelier and he was indeed very passionate about it. I remember my conversations with him, there was always warmth, love, and something to learn. May his soul rest in peace. I believe human experiences are all built on connecting with others everywhere we go.

The definition of a life well-lived is, of course, different for every one of us. But there are some ingredients that I think we may agree to make for a great life. I will share a few of mine. I married the person I loved. My Entrepreneurial journey helped me find my true friends, they are few but they are whom I can count on through thick and thin. Being a Startuprenure is the career I chose a few years back and am very happy with it. It's tough to be a Startuprenure, but it has helped me evolve as an individual. Besides, I am very very passionate about the work I do. Our Startup Jeevitam, which is helping people find sustainable livelihood is something which I live on a daily basis. I love traveling which I have not done for more than nine months now, wish to start again and travel as much I can. I keep saying, this ongoing crisis has given us the opportunity to reset the way we live and work. Let us incorporate the ingredients in our life to make Life Well Lived.

Make the best use of what is in your power and take the rest as it happens.~ Epictetus. A quotation that so beautifully expresses how to live each day. In my view what we can control is today and the present moment. I was remembering the lyrics of the famous song, 'Har pal yahan jee bhar jiyo, Jo hai samaa kal ho naa ho'. I’ve always thought living well was an art form of sorts. We create the life we want in our imagination and paint the canvas of our lives with it. We paint ourselves into the picture of love, friendship, career, and the world we dream up. If that’s the case and we get to live that life, we should live that life to the fullest. We all should make that life count and make our Life Well Lived.

Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
