Great Things Happen When We Move!

This week I saw one of the advertisements unveiled by Shell in its latest campaign, ‘Great Things Happen When We Move' to celebrate the Indomitable Spirit of Indians, their Dreams, and Aspirations along with their Inspiring Journeys. This film highlights the story of Yogita Raghuvanshi, India’s first female truck driver who could not pursue her career in law as she took the responsibility of being a Single Mother after her husband passed away. She chose to get behind the wheel for a brighter future for her children. Busting stereotypes, today, Yogita is a Role Model to many. She believes that Luck is something we have to create for ourselves. Her Dreams are Unleashed and she is Flying Free.

This week we also celebrated International Woman's Day. We at Jeevitam, conducted a Webinar with a powerful panel of five accomplished Women who shared their Journeys with all the Participants and how Wom



en in today's times find a sustainable livelihood. Besides, we also launched first of its kind Virtual Work Fair for Women. In this Women only Work Fair, we saw Participation by over ten thousand Woman Participants. Besides, this Work Fair was supported by Leading Government Enterprise & One of the Top Corporate CSRs of the country. We also saw Participation from Top Corporates, CSRs/NGOs, Startups, Industry Associations, and Skill Council. We have now decided to do this Virtual Work Fair every month, *Ab Har Nari Banegi Atmanirbhar*. I really believe great things happen when We Move Together.

In the ongoing crisis, I know many have lost their dear ones, many have lost their Livelihood and many have lost their Spirit to fight. I believe the only thing we all can ever really do is to keep moving forward. I think it's time to take that big leap forward again, without hesitation, without once looking back. It's time to Simply forget the past, move forward, and chase our dreams. I have myself experienced & I know, starting afresh is really tough. Let's Dream again, Let's Aspire again, Let's Inspire Others, Let's Get that Desire To Win, To Be Better. I Believe, Great things Happen When We All Move Ourselves and When We Move Together.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart. If we are our authentic selves, we will have no competition. I believe Hard times arouse an instinctive desire in us to Be Authentic.
