Looking Forward!


Today is my Birthday and I thought let me share my Life Journey with all with whom I share my Weekly Blogs. It sounded a bit crazy idea, but then I said to myself, let it be. Growing up is the best journey that I’ve ever embarked on. Born into a Middle-Class Family, got good values from my Parents which held me in good stead in the difficult periods of my life. My father taught me the importance of hard work and learned the importance of unconditional love from my mother. I was fortunate to Marry the lady I loved and have been blessed with two beautiful daughters. I completed my CPA along with my graduation and started my Corporate Career in Mumbai. And after twenty years of my Corporate Life, became a Serial Entrepreneur. I was fortunate enough to actually live a life that I always wanted to Live.

My Ongoing Journey with our Startup Jeevitam for the last over one and half years has been full of Excitement & Action. Jeevitam, is a Tech-Enabled Livelihood Platform with a Mission Livelihood For All. We are on a high growth trajectory and have been enjoying the kind of work we have been doing. Our goal is to help vulnerable segments and Entry-level Workforce find Sustainable Livelihood. And with the ongoing crisis where Saving Livelihood is the focus of all, I believe we are in the Right Place at the Right Time. More importantly, I have been lucky to work with an Excellent Team of My Co-Founders, My Advisory Board Members, and My Colleagues who believe in the cause & the impact Jeevitam is creating. We are Reimagining the way vulnerable segments find Sustainable Livelihood and bring Innovative Solutions. And while doing so, we are trying to create wealth for our stakeholders.

I am looking forward to making Jeevitam which is working with all the stakeholders, a Unicorn. I am looking forward to putting tick boxes to as many of the items kept in my bucket list. I am looking forward to spending more time with my family and friends. I am always looking forward to learning new things in my life. I am always looking forward and trying to improve. I am looking forward to influencing others in a positive way. I am really looking forward to seeing what life brings to me. Today again I am missing my mother, I know she is out there in heaven blessing me.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart. If we are our authentic selves, we will have no competition. I believe Hard times arouse an instinctive desire in us to Be Authentic.
