Reimagine the Way We Work And Live!

 This week while delivering the Keynote address in one of the Webinars organized by a leading college, I shared my perspective on the need to Reimagine the Education & Employment framework in the New Normal & Beyond. This also made me Relook at the We have been Living and Working. I keep saying that the ongoing crisis is giving us all a rare opportunity to Reset the Way We Work and Live. And while doing so we should try to Reimagine the way we Wish to Work and Live. Lockdowns have forced us to Live and Work in a way for some time now, we could not have ever imagined earlier. We could not have imagined Work From Home for so long. We could not have imagined spending so much time with our family. Let us Now Reimagine the Way We Work & Live.

Since the onset of the crisis last year, the Entire Workforce has been in Transition. After the first wave, there were expectations that things will go back to old Normal, however, the second wave has changed everything. Corporates across the world are now Reimagining the WorkSpace with Work From Home or Anywhere as one of the preferred options making the world one Marketplace. Distributed Workforce, Hybrid Workforce, and Digital Nomads are few new Concepts that are evolving. The future of work is changing fast. Corporates/Startups across the world are now open to Hire from Anywhere and Work Seekers have now opportunities to Work from Home or Anywhere. There is a clear need for Work Providers & Work Seekers to adapt to these Emerging Opportunities and Reimagine the Way We Work.

I think it's also time to Reimagine the Way We Live. Many are learning new skills, digitally. Many are spending more time on their new Exercise and Diet regime. Many are re-establishing their old relationships, talking to them, over video or call. Many are rebuilding their lives, having lost nears and dears. Many are Reconnecting with themselves, spiritually. Nature has in a way forced us to pause from our fast-paced lives, re-evaluate what is important for us as a person and Reimagine the Way We Live. Let us all not be restricted with our past, embrace the change with open arms and Reimagine the Way We Work & Live.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart. If we are our authentic selves, we will have no competition. I believe Hard times arouse an instinctive desire in us to Be Authentic.
