Believe in Yourself And Go For It!

The ongoing crisis is making transformational changes in the Way We Work & Live. What was Relevant prior to the crisis may not be Relevant Now. This is in many ways forcing people to look at Emerging Opportunities and Possibilities. Work From Home/Anywhere Opportunity is Reinventing the Way We Work & Live. At the same time, it is Definitely Possible to Learn New Ways of Doing Things. My wife who is a Primary School Teacher, in the last year has learned to use laptops more effectively to make Presentations/Excel Sheets. She learned to Teach Kids coming to the School for the first time, Digitally. She really had to work very hard, it was indeed tough for her but in the end, like many, she also completed her full Term with the kids, Digitally. She Believed in Herself and just Went for It.

I have been having conversations with many in recent times who have been having a tough time in their Jobs or in Business. And one thing which is common with many of them was that they Held to their past and Refused to Change in the hope that things will go back to old ways. Fear and being Risk averse is holding back many to adapt to New Possibilities & Opportunities. At Jeevitam at the beginning of the Last Year, like All We had made a Business Plan for the Year, but in the month of March last year when the Lockdown was announced, we had to put our Business Plan aside. We looked into Emerging Opportunities & Possibilities with the Entire Workforce in Transition and made a New plan to Reinvent Ourselves. First-quarter was indeed tough for us, but we Believed in Ourselves and Went for the New Plan made by us. Jeevitam is now disrupting the way Vulnerable Segments and Entry-level Workforce find Sustainable Livelihood, and Jeevitam has now emerged as India's Livelihood Platform.

Ronnie Screwvala has recently commissioned a telling new report titled ‘Non-linear Thinking’, I am sharing few excerpts of his recent interview: Non-Linear Thinking allows us to take a path less trodden, where past experiences do not define future ones. We can’t set our ambitions to only talk and talk… we need to put an action plan. And for that Changing the Mindset is the epicenter, because if we do that then we influence, and when we influence we can do many other things. We are fearful of failure, which is half the reason we’re risk-averse. So that space, if it is disrupted, then we question. We need to get to that stage where We get confidence in our own Decision-Making and Once we do that, we are not Risk Averse. Believe in Yourself and Do What You Always Wanted To Do.

Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
