New India in New Normal!

I keep saying the ongoing crisis is once in a Life Time Opportunity to Reimagine the Way We Live and Work. It's also a Big Opportunity to Reimagine New India in New Normal. Lockdowns forced us to Reimagine the Way India Works. Work From Home became a reality, it got acceptance from Industry as one of the Working Options. Telemedicine became a Reality, Government accepted it as one of the options to deliver medical Services. Online Education became a Reality, Education Institutions & Edtech Startups proved it as one of the ways to Educate. Ecommerce is one of the ways to deliver products & services become a Reality, Industry accepted E-commerce as one of their Business Models. All the changes we would have resisted, we were forced to accept and I believe all these changes will be the foundation of New India in New Normal. 'To Think Small is Unbecoming of an Indian' ~ Dhirubhai Ambani.  In the coming months, when India hits its New Normal of Work-Home Hybrid, we will ...

Every Small Victory leads to the Big Ones!

This week our Startup Jeevitam became part of the Stanford Seed Transformation Class of 2022. This immersive program is run by Stanford University, one of the Most Prestigious Programs in the World, Working with Worldwide Start-ups like Jeevitam that are - Deeply Impactful, have the Potential to Impact Globally, and have Key Indicators for Growth. This Victory was one of the many smaller victories towards our Quest to become one of the Global Livelihood Platforms for Vulnerable Segments and Entry Level, Work Seekers. We believe this Victory will provide us the required ratification with our Stakeholders and boost our confidence to keep moving towards our stated objective of becoming a Unicorn. 'The great victory, which appears so simple today, was the result of a series of small victories that went unnoticed.' ~ Paulo Coelho.  The ongoing crisis is forcing many of us to get into new ways of doing Business or New Jobs or New Work Opportunities. I believe it's important that ...

Just Find an Excuse to Win, Keep Moving!

This week I spoke to one of my friends who had joined a new course & was facing challenges learning new skills. I have also been working with New Joiners from Campus & Senior Hires who were facing real-life challenges of working with a Startup. In both cases, there was a voice inside them that was Yelling "Can't". I told them not to listen to it, instead kept advising them to keep working harder, keep learning new ways of doing things and get that winning streak in them. At our Startup Jeevitam, we have learned not to give up on a new idea, a new way of doing things straight away. We understand that it’s rare that we will succeed in something we try for the first time. We keep retreating it till we get in Right. Perseverance is the Key. "Hard Work and Confidence is the best medicine to kill the disease called failure. It will make you a successful person." ~ Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam.  Like many, I have been working from Home since the onset of the ongoing ...

Challenges are Opportunities in Disguise, let's Recognise and Seize them!

Since the onset of the ongoing crisis, each one of us has faced challenges in some way and has forced us to do things that otherwise we would not have accepted easily. For example, many corporates were forced to close their office because of Lockdowns and had to introduce Work From Policies which otherwise would not have been accepted easily. Similarly, many individuals were forced to learn Digital Skills because of Work from Home which otherwise would have not been learned. Now Work From Home Policies is creating opportunities for Corporates to hire the best talent across the Globe as they are in a way becoming place agnostic. Similarly, after being forced to learn Digital Skills, individuals are now finding new opportunities opening up for them to Learn and Earn. It's now up to us to recognize & seize these Emerging Opportunities in disguise because of the ongoing crisis & Reimagine the Way We Work & Live. 'The trouble with opportunity is, it never announces when ...
