Challenges are Opportunities in Disguise, let's Recognise and Seize them!

Since the onset of the ongoing crisis, each one of us has faced challenges in some way and has forced us to do things that otherwise we would not have accepted easily. For example, many corporates were forced to close their office because of Lockdowns and had to introduce Work From Policies which otherwise would not have been accepted easily. Similarly, many individuals were forced to learn Digital Skills because of Work from Home which otherwise would have not been learned. Now Work From Home Policies is creating opportunities for Corporates to hire the best talent across the Globe as they are in a way becoming place agnostic. Similarly, after being forced to learn Digital Skills, individuals are now finding new opportunities opening up for them to Learn and Earn. It's now up to us to recognize & seize these Emerging Opportunities in disguise because of the ongoing crisis & Reimagine the Way We Work & Live.

If we look back, I believe all of us have some missed opportunities. The trouble indeed with all these missed opportunities was that they did not announce themselves when they came. Similarly, this ongoing crisis I believe is once in a lifetime opportunity. We are seeing the next wave of Delta variants coming, will it be the last one, it's anybody's guess. However, it's still an opportunity that is asking us to seize it and make the best of it before it's gone. In our Startup Jeevitam, we saw this huge opportunity of Workforce in Transition coming our way last year itself and we seized it to get on a high growth trajectory. At Jeevitam, We are on a Mission Livelihood for All. Accordingly, we are now raising money, hiring the best of talent, building collaborations & Partnerships, and creating the required Impact. Seize the opportunity before it's Gone.

Some of the most successful people in the world are really good at seizing great opportunities. Being at the Right Time & Right Place is indeed important. Opportunities do not announce when they come and also do not tell when they are going to go, it's when they are gone, we realize what we missed. This crisis is pushing everyone towards a New Normal, It's making World One Marketplace. This transition is happening across the world and at a very rapid pace. I believe it's also opening up Interesting Opportunities and Possibilities. We all have to take the risks required, listen to our Instincts, make the required changes, Reimagine the way we do things, take decisions fast and seize these Emerging Opportunities & Possibilities.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
