Hybrid is the New Normal!

I have been traveling, meeting government officials, clients, partners in the last 10 days and I was enjoying Meeting them all after a long time. Yes meeting them in person was definitely different than meeting them over Google Meet. I think also somewhere in my mind it has been playing to meet as many before the new virus locks us down again. Last Year, the onset of the crisis forced all of us to do almost everything digitally. Meet over Zoom/Google Meet, Buy Groceries/Food/Clothes online, Teach/Learn Digitally, Do Webinars, Transact Online, etc. We learned everything new & online as we had no other option, it was important for our survival. New Business Models/New ways of working/learning/living emerged. Suddenly many of us became aware of the best of both the Digital World & the Physical World, and a combination of both the world, New Hybrid World started emerging. Hybrid is going to be the New Normal.

While I was traveling, meeting people in person, I was also doing everything digitally which have been doing for the last over one and half years. Yesterday I did my 'Future of Livelihood' Webinar with the students of IIM Kashipur and followed it up with a long in-person meeting with our Business Partner, which I believe could not have been possible earlier. I keep asking many business heads the impact of taking their business online and doing everything digitally, most who adapted themselves & changed had seen their business grow, savings in costs improved productivity, etc. In our Startup Jeevitam, since the onset of the ongoing crisis, we have demonstrated how our Innovative Voice & AI Technology can help bridge the gap between the Vulnerable Segments/Entry Level Work Seekers and Work Providers. I believe now Digital World is also as much part of our life as the Old World. Best of Both the Worlds is going to be the Hybrid World and a New Normal.
I keep saying we have to start Living with Uncertainty. Digital transformation is making World one Marketplace. We earlier used to Live Where We Worked & We now Wish to Work Where We Live. The reality now is that as much we may like to go back to Old Normal as it puts us in our comfort zone, the world has moved on. We all are going through a Transition. There is a Big fight going on to bring the Workforce back to the office. We were literally forced to learn a lot in the last over one and half years, let's not forget those learnings & make learning a continuous process. Let's stay open to Possibilities & Opportunities emerging out of the New Hybrid World. I believe in the future, companies & individuals that can be adaptive and create an environment that favors Trust & Flexibility, will be the ones that ultimately will Win Out. Hybrid World is the Future & New Normal.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
