2022 - Year of Transition!

 The third wave of the ongoing crisis is hitting us all. Lockdowns are happening again and Corporates are asking their employees to Work from Home again. However, this time we all are better prepared to work through this Transition to Lockdowns & Work from Home. Transition is the process of change from one kind of experience. How long this third wave will be there and its implications are anybody's Guess. However, one thing is for sure Transition across the world is happening to live with this Virus & its Variants. Transition is happening in the Way We Work & Live. Hybrid is the New Normal. 2022 is looking more and more like a year full of transitions, especially when thinking about the world as a whole. 

I keep saying Work From Home/Work From Anywhere is the biggest Innovation of the Ongoing crisis. Working from Anywhere/Home is now an established and accepted way of Working. The world is Now becoming one Marketplace and Talent is now a Global Resource. Earlier We used to Live Where We Work, but Now we Want to Work where We Live. There is a Big Resignation drama going on across the world as Work Providers are learning to Trust & provide Flexibility to their Workers. Corporate CEOs have to solve the Real Estate problem as they have to figure out what to do with the Big offices they have built if they accept Work from Home/anywhere. The entire Workforce across the world is in Transition and Technology now is a Big Enabler.

"Times of Transitions are Great Opportunities to look for recurring patterns in your life and make adjustments to Build on the Good and Reduce the Not so Good.” – Dan Miller. When we are Working from Home, we are working from Bay Area or Bengaluru, how does it matter. Remote Working is allowing us to go back to our Home Towns and live life with our folks. Remote Working is opening up opportunities for Vulnerable Segments like Work Seekers from Tier 2 & 3 cities, Women & PwDs to find work opportunities from the comfort of their homes. Our Startup Jeevitam is a the forefront of this Transition. Digital Nomads are now in demand and countries across the world are offering Digital Nomad Visas. I believe 2022 will be the Year of Transition in How We Work & Live.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
