Keep Moving & Smiling!

 I have been writing my Sunday Blogs with the above theme for over five years now. It started as an idea to share the perspective of my Startup Journey every Sunday. All these years I kept receiving encouragement from many which motivated me to Keep writing. At the beginning of the Year, I thought of sharing a compilation of My Sunday Blogs for the Year 2021 with All. While going through my Blogs last year, there were two broad themes emerged. First, We all know Change is Constant, however, the speed with which Changes were happening increases. It required all of us to Keep Moving Forward and accepting the changes. Second, Staying Positive in the ongoing crisis became more relevant. It required us to Keep Moving & Smiling amidst the ongoing crisis. 

'If You Can't Fly, then Run. If You Can't Run, then Walk. If You Can't Walk, then Crawl. But Whatever You Do, You have to Keep Moving' ~ Martin Luther King, Jr. I believe the Changes that were forced upon us in the last two years will become our Way of Life in the Year 2022. The crisis has now become Part of Life for all of us. If Lockdowns are forced on us again, we all are prepared to do what needs to be done. Hybrid will be the New Normal. We will start trusting More. Start offering More flexibility to all. More People will start Working Where they Live. More integration of the World as one Marketplace will happen. For example, WhatsApp/Google Meet/Zoom Calls have made World as one, we can speak/do video calls with anyone across the world at Virtually no additional cost. We all have to learn to accept these changes & Keep Moving Forward.

I am the Chief Happiness Officer of our Startup Jeevitam. My primary role is to ensure that our Clients, Colleagues, Partners, Stakeholders, etc are all Happy. I keep saying Happiness is a state of mind and Staying Positive is a prelude to Happiness. It's indeed challenging when Everyone is trying to find new ways of working from the office/home/work from anywhere. With so much uncertainty and so much change, Staying Positive is indeed difficult. We all need to Remember, we are not alone. Remember, it will not be this way forever. Remember, This will also Pass. Remember, to Find a Reason to Smile. The year 2022 will be the Year of Hope. Stay Positive and Keep Smiling. Wishing All a Very Happy & Prosperous Year in 2022.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart. If we are our authentic selves, we will have no competition. I believe Hard times arouse an instinctive desire in us to Be Authentic.
