Stay Relevant!

This week I came across an article in a leading daily on how various Hotels are adding new products/services to Stay Relevant in the ongoing crisis. Ironically it took a crisis for them to launch new products & services to survive. In the fast-changing, disruptive and uncertain world, Staying Relevant has now become a necessity to Survive and Grow. Let us Imagine our provisional store next door, which will be irrelevant soon if he refuses to offer free delivery services at the same or better speed as various ECommerce platforms are doing now. I keep saying Work From Home/Anywhere is making World One Marketplace, and disrupting the Way We Work & Live. We All need constantly adapt ourselves to fast-moving opportunities to Survive & Thrive, it's no more a choice. Also, it becomes all the more important to be aware of what's happening around us, Keep Learning News Ways of Working & Living, and to Keep Asking ourselves & others what will it take for all of us to Survive the ongoing crisis and what will it take to Stay Relevant.

We often stay stagnate under a false pretense: of safety. We convince ourselves that our lives are more stable if we cling to our Past & established routines. Courtesy of the ongoing crisis, the world outside is changing very fast & at a disruptive pace. What was relevant in the past may not be relevant now. We all need to adapt ourselves by continuously learning a new way of working and living. In our Startup Jeevitam, We keep telling the Work Seekers to constantly learn new skills, reskill, and upskill themselves to stay relevant to available work opportunities. We believe that there is no dearth of Work Opportunities, we just need to learn to be relevant for the open opportunities. I personally make conscious efforts to read as many books, newspapers, magazines, and articles on social media to keep learning to Stay Relevant. I believe there is no age to learning, we learn in each phase of our life. We all always have a choice to make, either life teaches us lessons or we make conscious efforts to Keep Learning to Stay Relevant.

'It’s been true in my life that when I’ve needed a mentor, the right person shows up.' ~ Ken Blanchard. I also believe that in order to Stay Relevant, we should always have a Mentor who can help us whenever we are in need. I myself have been blessed to have been Mentored in every phase of my life and they played a very vital role in my career and personal life. Staying Relevant is a continuous process and We always need someone from whom we can seek counsel, discuss our viewpoints, and take advice on any aspect of work or life. Mentors who can do so could be could anyone, be our Teacher, Relative, Friend, Colleague, Professional, anyone whom you can trust and who is willing to help. In Jeevitam we have a very strong Advisory Board that is always willing to listen to us, advise us and help us wherever and whenever required. We All Need to Keep Evolving, Keep Learning, Keep Asking to Survive & Stay Relevant for the Future.
