Never Stop Trying. Never Stop Believing. Never Give Up!

This week I saw this Inspiring Video of Jonathan Edwards, a British former Triple Jumper. He stood 23rd in Seoul Olympics in 1988, 35th in Barcelona Olympics in 1992, Silver Medal in  Atlanta Olympics in 1996 & Finally Won Gold Medal at Sydney Olympics in 2000. He never stopped trying, never stopped believing, and never gave up, till he finally won Gold Medal. We just have to try different things even if many of them fail, we only have to be right one time. We don't have to figure it all out in advance. We can be wrong many times, we can pick up the wrong career, we can pick up the wrong whatever. But if we get it right one time, we are set. But if we don't try, if we don't go out there and try all those different things, we will never get that one time right. We have to keep Trying. 'Keep exploring. Keep dreaming. Keep asking why. Don’t settle for what you already know. Never stop believing in the power of your ideas, your imagination, your hard work to change the...

Build Partnerships That Make Great Things Happen!

Since the beginning of this month, I have been focussing on meeting and finalizing plans with our Partners for the New Financial Year. As I meet our Partners I’m convinced that the only way we are ever going to tackle the complexities of our shared challenges is by collaborating. And the only way to do that is to build partnerships that allow us to move forward together without becoming overwhelmed by fear. Sometimes the issues we face, whether in our community or in the world, seem way too daunting to imagine we personally can do anything to help solve them. Our Partners help us understand and practice purpose in every action, word, and connection we make with others, building a way of being that becomes the foundation for our lives and our legacy of positive change. We might have heard the proverb, “If we want to go fast, go alone; if we want to go far, go together.” But what has become clear to me over the last few years as a Startuprenure is that the only way we can go both fa...

Always Do Closure!

Last week I spent a good time with my Mentor. There was one Key Take Away for me from the discussion we had was to Always focus on the Closures, Complete what we have started. Closures are important as they are the first step to achieving success. We need closure in order to move forward because, without it, we are walking in circles. We need to find the closure we need and be happy as there is so much out there to be gained. In Business & in Life, Closures are important for us to Keep Evolving & Keep Moving Forward. When we are trying to achieve something Big, Something Different, or Something Important, I believe it's important for us to focus on Always Doing Closures. Surely we’ve all done it: start something new and then leave it unfinished. I have been a Startuprenure for some time now and for me starting a new project or working on the next Big Idea is like falling in love. It’s exciting, emotionally arousing, and infused with the natural motivator of novelty. Then, ...

It’s Never Too Late To Start Over!

This week I saw a post on LinkedIn wherein the famous Bollywood Actor shared his Life Journey. He became an Actor at the age of 35 years and he believes that it's never too late to start over. Yes, Life has been imperfect for many in the last over two years since the onset of the crisis. It has been difficult and complicated and burdensome and messy for many. And we all have been part of it, a part that grows and changes and learns and adapts and comes back together. But there will never be a time when we can’t just step back and start all over. Breathe. Then begin again. There is no rewind, but we can always restart, It's Never Too Late To Start Over. However, to Restart, we all need to Let Go. We need to let go of the ways of working which are no more relevant, let go of the old normal, and let go of the anxieties over what lies ahead, of the worry we feel over a future we cannot control. Let go. We all need to realign to the New Normal, Grab the new opportunities & poss...
