Build Partnerships That Make Great Things Happen!

 Since the beginning of this month, I have been focussing on meeting and finalizing plans with our Partners for the New Financial Year. As I meet our Partners I’m convinced that the only way we are ever going to tackle the complexities of our shared challenges is by collaborating. And the only way to do that is to build partnerships that allow us to move forward together without becoming overwhelmed by fear. Sometimes the issues we face, whether in our community or in the world, seem way too daunting to imagine we personally can do anything to help solve them. Our Partners help us understand and practice purpose in every action, word, and connection we make with others, building a way of being that becomes the foundation for our lives and our legacy of positive change.

We might have heard the proverb, “If we want to go fast, go alone; if we want to go far, go together.” But what has become clear to me over the last few years as a Startuprenure is that the only way we can go both fast and far is together. Every time I think about Mission Livelihood For All, I’m filled with hope and the realization that collectively we truly can do anything. We simply need the will, the determination, the right Partnerships, and a focus on meaningful measures of success. Getting to something bigger is much easier if we are not attempting it alone. Partners push each other toward audacious goals and hold each other accountable to reach them. We believe Partnerships are like a renewable energy source that keeps us going, even in the midst of challenges. 

I’ve learned that the only way we are really going to solve humanity’s biggest, most complicated problems is by forging meaningful partnerships and then using those relationships as catalysts to drive even larger collaborations and social movements. Our purpose is achieved simply by being 100 percent there for our Partners - Providing Trust, Respect, and Belief in one another and helping each other reach out to something bigger. This daily practice inevitably extends to every life we touch, making all our connections and our lives meaningful. Reimagining the world can begin with nurturing Partnerships of meaning and using them as epicenters for collaborations at a scale we cannot yet comprehend.
