Change Your Perspective!
We all face drama & problems in various forms every day. It isn’t easy to change our perspective to remain positive when such drama & problems occur. Someone is upset at me…things aren’t going as We planned…someone is blaming you for their own failures…why don’t people communicate clearly…someone is attacking you personally. Sometimes this might all be in one day! As Captain Jack Sparrow so wisely shares, “The problem is not the problem. Your attitude about the problem is the problem.” When we are in a state of high emotion, logic often goes out the window. This can push us down a spiral of negative thoughts. Over the years I have tried to respond than react to such situations by changing my perspective, changing my emotional and mental inputs. A change in perspective means seeing things in a new way to look at our problems and a very powerful one in life and business. Change Your Perspective. Change Your Experience.
"The severity of your problems is a matter of perspective. Change your perspective and most of them become insignificant. Some of them will no longer exist as problems - but opportunities instead." ~ Ernie J Zelinski. I am the Chief Happiness Officer of our Startup Jeevitam. I have to ensure that all of Our Stakeholders, Partners, Clients & Colleagues are Happy. It has been shared that it takes up to 6 positive thoughts/experiences to counteract one negative thought/experience. I believe Happiness is a state of mind, Happiness is something found within, by creating a change in our perspective, we can have a profound impact on our own Happiness. I have experienced that every adversity, every failure, and every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit, it's just a matter of perspective. We have to understand that we cannot change the behaviors or attitudes of others, however, we can Change our Perspective to Change our View that the dramas & problems do not have to last any longer than we let them be. Change Your Perspective. Change Your View.
In Life and in Business, I believe there is nothing "Right" or "Wrong" (rare circumstances aside). "Right" and "Wrong", especially in regard to where we want to go in Life & Business, are relative terms. I think neither perspective is good or bad, or completely correct or incorrect. They are two different pieces of the same puzzle, that when brought together bring about a clearer view of reality. Our perspectives color how we see ourselves, how we see the world, how we respond to life events, and how we interact with others. We have the power to be open to other perspectives, to challenge ourselves to see things from another point of view or from a different mindset. As we broaden and change our perspectives, we’ll discover that the greater clarity and understanding that comes with that will give us more options on how we respond and act…and therefore, empowers us more. We all have the power to change our perspectives and how we view everything we encounter in life. So our perspectives are not only created from our life experiences, but they also change our life experiences going forward. Change Your Perspective. Change Your Experience. Change Your View. Change Your Life.
