Trust Your Intuition!

Our Startup Jeevitam launched Aarambh on 2nd October, a Initiative to help over one Million Women/Girls find Sustainable Livelihood, help in Capacity Building, Financial Inclusion & Access to Government Schemes, with the objective of making *Girls/Women become Self-Dependent ie 'Swawlambi' or 'Atmanibhar'. When we launched this Initiative we had this Intuition that we are on to something Big, something New, something Impactful and probably this Initiative will become a Movement. Over the years as a Startupreneur We have learnt to Trust our Intuition, We don't rely on external validation when We are working on any new Idea, as We know it's early and many don't have our gut feeling to start something New. As Startupreneur, We are always conscious of the fact that our Stakeholders are looking for outsized returns. And for that to happen, We have over the years learnt to train our mind to Trust Our Intuition and then go all out for the opportunity we have in front of us, before it becomes obvious to everyone.

While working on the Aarambh Initiative to help Increase Girls/Women Workforce Participation, we decided to focus on two segments i.e Girls & Women separately. It was important for us to help Girls become Self Dependent in early part of their Life. We looked around and did find that one of the Government Schemes of "Beti Padao Beti Bachao" has been quite successful. However, the logical mind was asking us, What Next? The answer we had Intuitively was "Beti Ko Swawlambi Banao".  We can call it in our inner voice, inner guidance, uncanny knowledge, instinct, gut feelings, a six sense, or a hunch which was telling us that we are on the right path. So we came out with the Anthem, Swawlambi Betiyan wherein we are talking about, "Beti Padao Beti Bachao Beti Ko Swawlambi Banao". This Anthem is now catching the Aspirations of the Girls across India. Sometimes looking within is all we have to do when we are trying to do something New. I believe, Intuition exists in all of us, whether we acknowledge it or not. The more we can learn about it, the more we can use it to shape our lives for the better.

Intuition is often lauded as the key to decision making. We may recognise the sensation ourselves. Whether we are looking at a new apartment, considering a possible new job or judging someone’s honesty, we may have an ineffable hunch when something is right or wrong – without being able to articulate the reasons for our judgement. While working on the Women Segment, we did find that there were 18% women workforce who had defied the odds to become Self-Dependent and were Inspiration to the Women Work Seekers. We had to take a decision on the theme, our Intuition was telling us that we should go for 'Main Hoon Bharatiya Nari Main Hoon Atmanirbhar' theme. Accordingly, today we are launching 'Main Atmanirbhar Bhartiya Nari' Anthem (shared below) and our Intuition tells us that all Working Women will be able to relate to it and it will be Beginning of a Movement. We believe its Better to be start of Something than the End, and for that we need to Trust Our Intuition.
