Hybrid is the New Normal!

I have been traveling, meeting clients, partners in the last over a month and I have been enjoying my Meetings with everyone. Yes, meeting them in person is definitely different then meeting them over Google Meet. I think the personal touch which comes into play when you meet in person, the attention which you are able to get while you are talking to each other, cannot be done digitally. In the over two Years, since the onset of the crisis, forced all of us to do almost everything digitally. Meet over Zoom/Google Meet, Buy Groceries/Food/Clothes online, Teach/Learn Digitally, Do Webinars, Transact Online etc. We learnt everything new & online as we had no other option, it was important for our survival. New Business Models/New Ways of Working/Learning/Living have emerged in the last over two years. We are now very well aware of the best of both Digital World & Physical World, and combination of both the worlds, New Hybrid World has emerged. Hybrid is the New Normal.
While I was traveling, meeting people in person, I was also doing everything digitally which have been doing for last over two years. While Traveling, I was doing my Normal Digital Meetings with Clients, Partners & My Teams and in person meeting with our Mentor & Chairperson along with my Partner, which I believe could not have been possible earlier. I keep asking many business heads the impact of taking their business online and doing everything digitally, most who adapted themselves & changed had seen their business grow, savings in costs, improved productivity etc, but still why they were insisting on going back the old ways of working. It continues to baffle me as they do not have any clear answers. However, I also meet certain corporates and startups who have evolved and decided not to go back to the old ways and investing in the Future, which is going to be combination of Old & the New world. I believe now New Digital World is also as much part of our life as the Old World. Best of Both the Worlds is the New Hybrid World and a New Normal.
I keep saying we have to keep living with Uncertainty in the New Hybrid World. Digital transformation is making World as one Marketplace. We earlier used to Live Where We Worked & We now Wish to Work Where We Live. The reality now is that as much we may like to go back to Old Normal as it puts us in our comfort zone, the world is Moving fast to the New ways of working. The Big resignation drama followed by Big termination drama tells us about the fight which is happening between the Two worlds. We all are going through a Transition. We were literally forced to learn a lot in the last over two years, let's not forget those learnings & make learning a continuous process. Since the launch of our Audacious Project *Aarambh*, I keep saying that there is huge opportunity to increase Women Workforce Participation if we offer them the flexibility & choice to Work from Anywhere. Let's stay open to Possibilities & Opportunities emerging out of New Hybrid World. I believe in the future, companies & individuals that can be adaptive and create environment that favours Trust & Flexibility, will be the ones that ultimately will Win Out. Welcome to the New Hybrid World!!

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
