Reinvent was the Theme of the Year'2022!

As we are in the last few days of the year 2022, it's also a time to reflect on the year gone by. As I look back on the year 2022, one theme for me which stands out this year was Reinventing Everything around us. Reinvent the way we Work & Live, Reinvent the Business Models, Reinvent the way we Meet People, Reinvent the way we Travel, Reinvent the way we do shopping, etc. For all the Corporates & those Individuals who read the writings on the Wall and Reinvented, survived, and are thriving. And for all those who did not Reinvent themselves, are facing challenges. I keep saying that in the last two years since the onset of the crisis, New Business Models/New Ways of Working/Learning/Living have emerged and the New Hybrid World has emerged. This New Normal forced everyone to Reinvent and change as per the demand of New realities to Survive. Whether it's an Individual or a Corporate, We are never too old/late to Reinvent Ourselves.

In the uncertainty of fast-changing times, it’s always easy to focus on what’s tried-and-true, to want to stick with what’s familiar, and to resist taking chances. It’s also easy to get caught up in the negativity around us and give in to the self-limiting beliefs that prevent us from reinventing ourselves. I have myself experienced so many times that whenever we wanted to take a big step or a small step in reinventing ourselves, we always faced resistance. It can take the form of guilt, fear, uncertainty, or timidity. Resistance is often unreasonable, irrational, and full of unfounded fear and excuses. To push through resistance, we need to challenge our fears and doubts, focus on our aspirations, and do the required hard work. I believe that through the power of reinvention, we understand ourselves better and what we ourselves are capable of achieving. Throughout the Year'22, I have personally tried to Reinvent myself in the way I work and Live and feel that it's still a work in Progress. For example, I do not go to the office daily, I travel when it's required and important. I invest time in reading as much, invest time in my daily walks & health regime, etc. I believe the new myself has made me much more calmer and focussed. Reinvent for Better Yourself.

Commit to Reinvent Yourself, to know that real growth happens in a place of discomfort. ~ Les Brown. Unexpected events like the crisis which started two years ago disrupted our habitual routines, jolted us out of our comfort zones, and forced us to ask big questions about what mattered and what was worth doing. It’s no wonder that many people have Reinvented the Way They Work & Live. We all had to choose what posture to adopt against the New Normal – whether to be a shaper of the future, a fast follower or to manage defensively, putting off change. Staying the same was no longer an option. At our Startup Jeevitam, we decided to take the lead and be the shaper of the future. Accordingly, this year we reinvented ourselves to be Earning Partner For Life of the Vulnerable Segments. Paradigm shifts from a transactional relationship to a long-term Partnership.  I believe that the winners not only execute relentlessly against today’s imperatives but also innovate and transform themselves to prepare for the future. This future is forcing all of us to step out of our comfort zones, to Reinvent ourselves with emerging Possibilities & Opportunities arising With the Fast Changing Times.
