Keep Moving & Smiling!

  I have been writing my Sunday Blogs with the above theme for over six years now. It started as an idea to share the perspective of my Startup Journey every Sunday. All these years I kept receiving encouragement from many which motivated me to Keep writing. At the beginning of the Year I thought of sharing a compilation of My Sunday Blogs for the Year 2022 and also of the Previous Years with You All. While going through my Blogs for the year 2022, there were three broad themes which emerged. First, The Year 2022 was the Year of Transition in the Way We Work & Live. Hybrid became the New Normal. The world is now one Marketplace and Talent is a Global Resource. Earlier We used to Live Where We Work, Now we can also Work where We Live. There was a Big Resignation drama followed by a Big Termination going on across the world as Work Providers are learning to Trust & provide Flexibility to their Workers. The entire Workforce across the world was in Transition and Technology became a Big Enabler. I believe in the Year 2023, this Transition will become more profound. Keep Moving Forward Fast will be the New Mantra.


Second, The Year 2022 was the Year of Collaboration in the way We Work & Live. In the New Hybrid World, we learned to co-exist both Digitally & Physically and collaborate both with Internal teams in various geographies and also with Ecosystem Partners seamlessly. I believe we learned to over-communicate, believe in each other & our capabilities and work towards a common vision to effectively collaborate and foster a collaborative culture. We have learned that if we have to solve big problems, we all have to collaborate. We are seeing Nations coming together to solve the problem of climate change. We all have understood that a company is never one person but a collaborative effort of the Entire Team. And the Power of Team Work, Make the Impossible Possible. Team Jeevitam is working along with the Ecosystem Partners to help Vulnerable Segments find Sustainable Livelihood at Scale which was earlier considered as Impossible. I believe in the Year 2023, We all will collaborate to Solve Big Problems and make the Impossible, Possible.


Third, The Year 2022 was the Year of Finding Happiness in the way We Work & Live. I am the Chief Happens Officer of our Startup Jeevitam. My primary role is to ensure that our Clients, Colleagues, Partners, Stakeholders etc are all Happy. I keep saying Happiness is a state of Mind and Staying Positive is a prelude to Happiness. In the Year 2022, it was indeed challenging for everyone looking at flexibility & choice while trying to find new ways of working from office/home/work from anywhere, which will make them happy. Many did find happiness in helping someone in need and many were happy for the help they received when they required the most. I believe in the Year 2023, the fight to find happiness in where we work and live will become intense, more and more people will find happiness in helping others in need. We all need to Remember, we are not alone in this fast-moving transition. Remember, collaboration is the way to solve Big Problems & Make Impossible Possible. Remember, to find a way to Work & Live in a way that makes you happy. The year 2023 will be the Year of New Normal. Wishing All a Very Happy & Prosperous New Year 2023.

Be Authentic, Do Uncomfortable Work And Surrender To The Outcome!

This week I saw this Ted Talk about the above. I could relate to it so much to my Journey. Authenticity for me is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s all about the choice to show up and be real, to be and to let out true selves be seen. It is also about being true to who we really are. Authenticity is more than speaking; Authenticity is also about doing. Every decision we make says something about who we are. Authenticity starts in the heart.
