Dream, Judge, Ask, Check, Simplify, Optimize And Do!

This week I read through the Book 'Think Like a Rocket Scientist' by Jim Longuski. The book illustrates the seven secrets of how to think like a rocket scientist as active verbs: “Dream,” “Judge,” “Ask,” “Check,” “Simplify,” “Optimize,” and “Do”. These are all verbs that could potentially be used to make our own giant leaps in work and life -- whether it's landing our dream job, accelerating our business, learning a new skill, or creating the next breakthrough product. In Today's context, thinking like a rocket scientist is a necessity. "Dream" could refer to the act of having a dream while sleeping, or it could refer to envisioning something in the future. "Judge" could refer to making a decision or assessment about something or someone. "Ask" could refer to seeking information or clarification from someone. "Check" could refer to verifying or reviewing something. "Simplify" could refer to making something easier to understand or less complex. "Optimize" could refer to making something as effective or efficient as possible. "Do" could refer to taking action or completing a task. We all encounter complex and unfamiliar problems in our lives, and the above given seven secrets can possibly help us navigate through these problems in our professional & personal lives.

While going through the Book I could relate these verbs to our startup Jeevitam in many different ways. "Dream" - I keep saying when we have to Dream, why Dream small? Having a clear vision and goal has helped us in our decision-making and provided motivation to keep moving forward. "Judge" - We keep assessing the market, competition, and potential risks and opportunities which are crucial for determining the best strategies for Jeevitam. "Ask" - I believe in Asking as much feedback from our Mentors, Seeking input from our potential customers, industry experts, and other stakeholders which can provide valuable information that can help shape our direction. "Check" - Keeping track of key performance indicators and regularly reviewing progress has helped us to be on track to meet our goals. "Simplify" - We believe in Simplifying processes, products, or services to the extent that can help make them more accessible and user-friendly for Vulnerable Segments. It has helped us in gaining and retaining customers. "Optimize" - We are constantly looking for ways to improve our startup Jeevitam's operations and processes that can help increase efficiency and reduce our costs. "Do" - Taking action and making things happen is crucial for our success. We believe without execution, all the planning and strategizing will be meaningless. These 7 verbs are just a few examples of the many different actions that we may have to take in our professional lives to be successful.

While going through the Book I realized that these verbs can also be applied in our personal lives to help us achieve our goals and live a fulfilling life. "Dream" - I think setting personal goals and having a clear vision for the future can help us in decision-making and provide motivation to keep pushing forward in our personal life as well. "Judge" - I believe we know ourselves the Best. Assessing one's own strengths and weaknesses, and making decisions based on that can be crucial for our self-improvement. "Ask" - I keep seeking as much advice and feedback from my Mentors and trusted friends who provide me valuable perspective and support in my personal life. "Check" - I understand reflecting on my progress every Sunday and reviewing my personal goals has helped me ensure whether I am on track to achieve them. "Simplify" - I know it's difficult, but Simplifying one's life by decluttering and organizing, have experienced, helps us reduce stress and increase our productivity. "Optimize" - I think we all should constantly look for ways to improve ourselves, for example reading as much can help increase our personal growth and well-being. "Do" - I believe in the famous Tagline 'Just Do It'  Taking action and making things happen is crucial for personal growth and development. I believe without execution, all the planning and strategizing are meaningless. Dream, Judge, Ask, Check, Simplify, Optimize, And Do are the seven secrets that can possibly help us achieve our personal & professional growth and well-being.
