Try to Do Something Big, Try to Do Something New, Try to Do Something Impactful!

Image
I keep saying to my Team that in a Startup like ours, when we think of doing something, why think Small, why not think of trying something Big. And when we try to do something, we question everything, question what's working & what's not working and that's how we may stumble on trying something New. I believe that's the essence of any Startup. A few months back, we tried to answer the question, Why College Placement Drives cannot happen in those colleges where it has never happened? Why College Placement Drives cannot happen for B.Com , B.Sc and BA Students? Why College Placement Drives cannot happen every month till as many students find Livelihood? Why College Placement Drives cannot happen for First Year & Second Year Students? And Now we are trying to do something Big, we are launching another Audacious Project to do College Placement Drives in over 1000 Colleges every month. And to achieve the stated objective, We are trying to do something New, while we l...

It's All in the Mind!

Image
This week I saw a post on LinkedIn by one of our Ex Colleagues who shared his experience of Conquering Comrades Ultra Marathon. In the Year 2019 it was difficult for him to run 90 meters and here in 2023 he could conquer Ultra Marathon. He attributes his remarkable success to his mind which set out to achieve the impossible Task, his peers dissuaded him, however with his unwavering will, dedication and focus he could achieve the success. In our Startup Journey, so many times when we had set our minds on a particular goal which seemed impossible initially, however fueled by unwavering will, dedication, and focus, we could achieve the numbers we had set for ourselves. Whether it's conquering a challenging task, pursuing a lifelong dream, or overcoming obstacles, the power of the mind plays a pivotal role in shaping our reality. I personally believe that It's All in the Mind and if we set our mindset, it empowers us to achieve anything we set our sights on. “Whatever you hold in y...

Keep Simple Stupid!

Image
This week while giving a demo of our Jeevitam Platform to one of our prospective Partners, the key observation made by the client was that the platform designed by us was very simple and could be used by vulnerable segments easily and at Scale. In three simple steps work seekers could register for livelihood opportunities and it could be done at Scale. Keep it simple, stupid (KISS) is a design principle which states that designs and/or systems should be as simple as possible. Wherever possible, complexity should be avoided in a system—as simplicity guarantees the greatest levels of user acceptance and interaction. In Uber, we can book a taxi in three simple steps, similarly in Airbnb we can book a property in three simple steps. However, under the hood of both these platforms, there is complex technology working but from a user experience perspective it's very simple stupid to use. The ability to simplify and make it look stupid means to eliminate the unnecessary so that necessary ...

Be The Extraordinary!

Image
This week we had a Masterclass for the Team Jeevitam by one of our Mentors on the Topic 'Why is Jeevitam rightly placed to Do Extraordinary Revenue this Year?' It wad really a eye-opening session for all of us wherein we all understood our true potential and the scale of the problem we are trying to solve. I am sharing a few of my learnings from the session. In a world that often looks for conformity, can often feel mundane and predictable, there is a compelling call to rise above the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary, there is a yearning deep within us to break free from the ordinary and become something extraordinary. Being extraordinary is not reserved for a select few; it is a path available to each and every one of us. Being extraordinary is not about being born with exceptional talents or possessing extraordinary circumstances. It is about recognizing our unique capabilities, pursuing our passions, and constantly pushing the boundaries of what we believe is possible....
