Let's Talk And Have a Meaningful Conversation!

Image
Yesterday I saw the movie "The Last Samurai," towards the end, Tom Cruise's character, Nathan Algren, says the dialogue, "I will miss our conversations. They have kept me alive." This line made me thinking as it highlights the importance of the bond and friendship he formed with the samurai and how their meaningful conversations have had a profound impact on his life, providing him with emotional support and a reason to keep going. A Meaningful Conversation for me is an exchange of thoughts, ideas, and emotions that fosters genuine connection and understanding between people. It involves active listening, empathy, and open communication to explore important topics or share meaningful experiences. Such conversations I have seen often leaves a lasting impact and contribute to personal growth and building meaningful relationships. In our fast-paced and technology-driven world, genuine conversations have become increasingly rare. I have personally experienced that s...

Believe in the Magic that is Life!

Image
All time football Great, Messi capped the opening night this week with his new club by delivering the unforgettable. His magical left foot sent a free kick into the upper left corner of the net in the 94th minute on Friday night, giving Inter Miami a 2-1 win over Mexican club Cruz Azul in a Leagues Cup match. Sometimes in this game of football, an ending is so perfectly written it defies belief. There is no point in analyzing or trying to bring logic to it. All we can do is marvel at the magic, most importantly, offer gratitude to the magician who made it happen. If we ever come across anything magical, like we witnessed Messi Magic this week,we should never dismiss it as a mere illusion. We need to have faith that magic can happen to anyone including us as well! Many people do not believe in magic because they have been told from their childhood that there is no such thing as magic. This kills all their creativity and limits their senses. Otherwise, we will only regret it later that w...

What You Seek is Seeking You!

Image
This week while going through an interview of a leading actor, I read through the above quote which made me pause, think and reflect on what's going on in my life. In our quest for fulfilment and purpose, we often overlook a profound truth : what we seek is actually seeking us, things that we most want also want us. Just like any other art form, the above quote, written by 13th-century Persian poet Rumi, can be interpreted in many different ways. The way I interpret the principle of “what you seek is seeking you” is about listening to our intuition, pursuing our dreams, creating our ideal reality, and knowing that the things that call to us are calling us for a reason. They are part of our purposeful path in this lifetime. It invites us to embrace a perspective that opens up new possibilities and transforms our approach to life. The energy we put forth into the world through our thoughts, emotions, and actions plays a crucial role in shaping our reality. When we set a clear intenti...

Be The Best Version of Yourselves!

Image
In a world filled with diversity and individuality, it's essential to remember the importance of being the best version of ourselves. No matter who we are, where we are or what path we may choose in life, the key to living a fulfilling and impactful life lies in our commitment to be the best version of ourselves. We have to understand that regardless of our profession, background, or circumstances, we have the power to make a positive impact through our actions and character. Whether we are artists, scientists, teachers, or students, we can strive to excel in our chosen endeavors and leave a lasting impression through our dedication, passion, and authenticity. When we commit ourselves to excellence in both our professional and personal lives, we become role models and sources of inspiration for others. This week again I read through a story of an individual who in his late forties, changed his lifestyle and fooding habits to become an ultra marathon runner, and has now become ambas...

Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe!

Image
This week I read through a post wherein the Author believes that when we do what we love, we attract our kind of people. She thinks the key is to show up consistently, genuinely care, and listen and do everything from a place of love and not the need to fit in. People can smell authenticity from miles away. I also personally believe in what the Author thinks as in our Startup Journey, Team Jeevitam have always been fortunate to be surrounded by people, who share similar interests, values, and beliefs. And I believe this is not merely a coincidence but rather a result of the energy we emit and the vibrations we project. When we exude positivity, impact, and enthusiasm, we emit a frequency that resonates with those who possess similar energies. Our outlook on lives we impact, our ability to find silver linings, and our genuine kindness all contribute to the vibrations we put out into the world. These vibrations I think act as a magnet, drawing people into our lives who share our optimism...
