In the last few weeks I have attended a couple of Big Events wherein many Speakers from Industry came in to share their perspectives. Clearly, there were two sets of Speakers there, one who felt they had arrived in Life & were full of arrogance, while on the other side there were speakers who displayed Humility, a rare and admirable quality leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. This reinforced the notion in me, that true greatness is often accompanied by a profound sense of humility. No matter how accomplished or exceptional we may be, arrogance is a trait that often diminishes our likeability and appeal. I believe to become better versions of ourselves and be more endearing to others, we must consciously cultivate humility. It is not about seeing how important we can become, but rather how much of a positive difference we can make in the lives of others. Humility allows us to remain grounded, open-minded, and receptive to learning and growth, regardless of our accomplishments. I have experienced that by embracing humility, we open ourselves up to genuine connections, meaningful relationships, and the opportunity to inspire and uplift those around us.
The invaluable lesson of hard work has been deeply ingrained in me since childhood, having witnessed the unwavering dedication of my father. In my career spanning over three decades, this principle has always been part of my professional & personal life. In my Startup journey, as we navigated through uncertain times, the need to learn new skills, work harder while adapting to a constant changing work environment, and find innovative ways to keep moving forward, for me became paramount. I believe this commitment to hard work is a common thread among successful individuals across all walks of life. I have seen there is often no alternative to the relentless pursuit of one's goals and dreams through diligent effort. I think while hard work may not always guarantee immediate success, it is a reliable path to long-term achievement and personal fulfillment. I personally believe that the rewards of hard work extend beyond the material gains; the sense of accomplishment, the development of character, and the personal growth experienced through this journey are invaluable.
The concept of "Always Hustling" is a driving force that propels us forward in our Startup, Jeevitam. Hustle, for us, is the unwavering pursuit of our aspirations, the determination to go after what we want with unwavering focus and tireless efforts. It is the conviction that we can achieve the seemingly impossible, the willingness to persevere even when others doubt our abilities. Hustle for me is about securing commitments and opportunities before anyone else, staying steadfast when everyone else has given up. It is the belief in ourselves and the unwavering faith in the potential of our business. In the face of challenges and struggles, hustle becomes the antidote, the driving force that propels us forward. I have experienced that ultimately, the sheer joy of winning, of accomplishing what others deemed unattainable, is the essence of our hustle. I believe this combination of staying humble, working hard, and always hustling is the driving force behind our success and the key to our continued growth and fulfillment. It is a philosophy that not only guides our professional endeavors but also shapes our personal development, instilling in us the values of resilience, determination, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
