Be In It To Be It
This week, while working on the Strategy for this financial year, one of our Advisory Board Members made a profound observation about the Founder Team. He noted how we've been fully immersed in building Jeevitam to bring it to its present stature, emphasizing that "We have to be in it to be it." This sparked reflection on a pattern I've observed repeatedly. At Jeevitam, our most successful initiatives emerged precisely when we were completely immersed – working alongside vulnerable segments, experiencing their challenges firsthand, and committing fully to solutions. There's a qualitative difference between dabbling and diving in. When merely dipping our toes, we miss crucial insights and opportunities that become visible only through complete engagement. This principle applies universally: to truly become something, we must first be fully In It To Be It.
In professional & business settings, being fully "In It" means letting the world know what we're good at through authentic demonstration. This commitment to full engagement recently culminated in Jeevitam receiving the prestigious ET Now Award this year – recognition that came from our complete immersion in our mission rather than half-hearted efforts. Organizations achieving remarkable results don't just quietly excel – they boldly share their unique strengths through consistent action. During Jeevitam's journey, we transformed our approach once we clearly articulated and demonstrated our distinct value in the communities we serve. As one of our insightful Advisory Board Member observed, "Many times when we're fully immersed, we don't realize we're just two feet away from the pot of gold we've always aspired to reach." When we truly commit and immerse ourselves in our purpose, we not only transform what we do but discover the profound value of where we stand right now.The principle of "Be In It To Be It" reminds us to value where we are today, echoing my last Sunday's blog about seeing what's right in front of us. My path would not have been the same without our Advisory Board Members, whose guidance has been invaluable at every juncture of our Startup journey. Many of us move through moments physically here but mentally elsewhere – checking phones during meetings, thinking about future achievements, or pursuing what's next without appreciating what's now. My effectiveness increased when I began practicing genuine presence. Life's richest experiences don't come to those always looking elsewhere. They reveal themselves to those who fully value and engage with where they are right now. Embrace this moment fully; it's the seed of the "It" We are meant to be.
Happy Sunday!! Keep Moving & Smiling!!🏃🏽😊
