Encourage One Another And Build Each Other Up!

This week We had few good Team Building Sessions at our Startup Jeevitam, as we are growing very fast and our Team size is increasing very rapidly. I think today's teams are different from teams of the past: They’re far more diverse, dispersed, digital, and dynamic. I have learned over the years when team members rely on each other to get the work done, team productivity and efficiency are always very high. I believe if we want to accomplish Big Things in Life, we always need to Encourage One Another And Build Each Other up to help Bring Our Mission & Vision to Life. In the ongoing crisis, there is a lot of uncertainty, we all are hearing about possible third waves, and when this crisis will get over is anybody's guess. Besides, because of this uncertainty lot of changes are happening at a very fast pace. New Normal is Emerging and to stay relevant it's important that we Encourage Each Other to Survive & Stay Relevant. I think in these difficult times it's impor...

I Will Persist Until I Succeed!

Yesterday was World Entrepreneurs’ Day, it recognizes and celebrates the efforts of individuals who are Entrepreneurs. On this day I went through a lot of articles that are there to create awareness & celebrate entrepreneurship and innovation. However, I feel it was also a day for all the entrepreneurs to ponder on the lessons learned during the ongoing crisis. The once-in-a-century crisis was a reality check which taught us many New Lessons and literally forced us to embrace the New Normal. We also realized the hard way that there’s no failing as an entrepreneur; only learning. We need to Believe in ourselves, our idea, deliver our best every day, We need to Persist Until We Succeed. 'I will persist until I succeed. I was not delivered unto this world in defeat, nor does failure course in my veins. I will hear not those who weep and complain, for their disease is contagious. The slaughterhouse of failure is not my destiny. I will persist until I succeed. The prizes of life are...

Freedom to Work and Live from Anywhere!

This week I had the opportunity to interact with the Students of IIM Nagpur and tried to delve into the Future of Livelihood. One interesting revelation came in when asked if the opportunity is given to them to Work from Anywhere, what will be their preference. 51% wanted to become Digital Nomads and Travel across countries and 26% wanted to work from Anywhere for an Offshore Company, 15% wanted to Work from Home for an Indian company and only 9% wanted to Migrate to a different country. It is quite clear that the ongoing crisis has opened our eyes and mind to a better way of doing work and go about our lives. What many call frictionless-first mindset about all things. Last year from the month of March, Lockdowns were forced on us which also forced us to Work and Live from Anywhere. What it has done inadvertently is that Work from Anywhere is now one of the acceptable Work Options, which also allows us to Live Anywhere. I believe this Big Change is now going to create the greatest peri...

Excellence in Whatever We Do!

'History Scripted At Tokyo' Tweeted our PM yesterday as Neeraj Chopra Won Gold Medal at the Olympics, the first Indian Athlete to do so. Neeraj Chopra, India champ's Javelin throw wowed audiences yesterday at Tokyo Olympics. It was indeed a moment for India at the Olympics, watching Neeraj throw the Javelin so powerfully. It was also very motivating for all Indians to see Neeraj striving not just to win, but to excel when it mattered the most under the highest scrutiny and pressure. It is meant to be the Very Best in Whatever We Do. The Olympics have always meant a lot to me personally and I remember growing up watching the Olympics on TV.  There is something special about these Olympic games – The majesty of the event is because of the hard work and the talent of those who compete in the games and strive for the gold, the excellence quotient. They resonate a sense of National Pride and Competitive Excellence in Whatever We Do. Continue to do common things in an uncommon w...

The Smartest Way to Help Yourself is by Asking for Help!

This week while doing a review with my Team which has recently joined, I kept sharing with them that they need to ask for help whenever/wherever required, especially in the context of today's scenario where they are working from home. Since the onset of the crisis, the way we work and live has changed, we are calling it New Normal. A lot of us have adapted to the change which was forced on us, however, lot many are really struggling and need help. However, it becomes important that we ask for help wherever/whenever required. Over the years I have learned as a Startuprenure, we can't be successful if we don’t ask for what we need. The fact is, we never know what people know or how they can help until we ask. I believe asking for help is the smartest move we can make. Be Smart, Ask for Help. 'Don't be afraid to ask questions. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it. I do that every day. Asking for help isn't a sign of weakness, it's a sign of strength...
