Stay Humble, Work Hard, Always Hustle!

Yesterday we had our Monthly Masterclass Series wherein one of our Advisory Board Members interacted with the Team Jeevitam. It was a great session, so much to learn from him, however, one thing which stood out about him with everyone was his humility. With over 42 years of rich industry experience, achieved so much in life but he still had his simplicity intact, he is still a very humble person. The thing is, no matter how smart, successful, good-looking, or special we may be, nobody likes arrogance. I personally feel that if we wish to develop into better people and be more likable, we need to Stay Humble. We need to recognize that we are not here to see how important we can become, but to see how much difference we can make in the lives of others, so Stay Humble. I learned early in my life that there is no alternative to hard work. Since childhood I had seen my Father work hard to give us the best, he could. In the ongoing crisis the entire world is going through a Transition, And t...

Always Be Curious!

Yesterday I spoke to Students from Girls College in Allahabad who is going to work as Research Associates with us for the next few months. It was a very good experience to hear their aspirations where these girls wanted to be someone in life and be self-dependent. They all had this Curiosity as to what they needed to do to get that confidence required to achieve their dreams and they asked all relevant questions. For the very young, everything is new and wildly uncertain. But they’re on a mission of discovery, and they’re determined to figure things out. And they’re good at it! I think in the ongoing crisis we All need to have a similar mindset to that of Young Girls to Always Be Curious and to Reimagine the Way We Work & Live. "We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." ~ Walt Disney. In our Startup Jeevitam, we question the Status quo which allows us to Reimagine the way Wor...

Take a Chance!

Yesterday our PM while addressing Indian Startups shared that "Startups are changing the rules of the game. I believe that startups are going to be the backbone of Innovation in India". I have been a Startuprenure for some time now and can say that running a Startup and getting acceptance for our Innovative Ideas was Not easy at all. Everyone wanted to listen to our new ideas/new ways of working, however when it came to giving our startup a chance, they asked for a track record, and they were not willing to take any risk, take a chance. However, we were lucky enough to have a few Investors who believed in us, and our idea and were willing to Take a Chance with Us to invest in our Startup. We also had with us a few Government officials, a few Corporate Heads, few CSRs/Foundations who were willing to Take a Chance with us and believed in our Technology and Business Model. However, most were Risk Averse, they were Not Willing to Take a Chance. 'I knew that if I failed I wou...

2022 - Year of Transition!

The third wave of the ongoing crisis is hitting us all. Lockdowns are happening again and Corporates are asking their employees to Work from Home again. However, this time we all are better prepared to work through this Transition to Lockdowns & Work from Home. Transition is the process of change from one kind of experience. How long this third wave will be there and its implications are anybody's Guess. However, one thing is for sure Transition across the world is happening to live with this Virus & its Variants. Transition is happening in the Way We Work & Live. Hybrid is the New Normal. 2022 is looking more and more like a year full of transitions, especially when thinking about the world as a whole.  I keep saying Work From Home/Work From Anywhere is the biggest Innovation of the Ongoing crisis. Working from Anywhere/Home is now an established and accepted way of Working. The world is Now becoming one Marketplace and Talent is now a Global Resource. Earlier We...

Keep Moving & Smiling!

I have been writing my Sunday Blogs with the above theme for over five years now. It started as an idea to share the perspective of my Startup Journey every Sunday. All these years I kept receiving encouragement from many which motivated me to Keep writing. At the beginning of the Year, I thought of sharing a compilation of My Sunday Blogs for the Year 2021 with All. While going through my Blogs last year, there were two broad themes emerged. First, We all know Change is Constant, however, the speed with which Changes were happening increases. It required all of us to Keep Moving Forward and accepting the changes. Second, Staying Positive in the ongoing crisis became more relevant. It required us to Keep Moving & Smiling amidst the ongoing crisis.  'If You Can't Fly, then Run. If You Can't Run, then Walk. If You Can't Walk, then Crawl. But Whatever You Do, You have to Keep Moving' ~ Martin Luther King, Jr. I believe the Changes that were forced upon us in the l...
