Reflections for Year 2022!

In the last few days of the Year 2022, I’ve been reflecting a lot on the ways in which what worked in the Year 2022, and how will the Year 2023 look like. The vast changes we have experienced in the last two years since the onset of the ongoing crisis have prompted many of us to reevaluate our lives: who we surround ourselves with, what fulfills us the most, what matters the most to us, etc. Drawing on my wide and varied past experiences in the business sector as a Startupreneur, learner, and Colleague & Partner to a Ecosystem of Stakeholders, I will try to share my understanding of the Industry related to Livelihood, our Startup Jeevitam's Future and my Personal Learnings. First, In the last two years the World has moved on to become one Marketplace, what worked before likely won’t work now, so we all need to change and move forward together with a totally new unified purpose. Second, I have always believed in Innovation-led Growth, as the only true driving factor to build ba...

Reinvent was the Theme of the Year'2022!

As we are in the last few days of the year 2022, it's also a time to reflect on the year gone by. As I look back on the year 2022, one theme for me which stands out this year was Reinventing Everything around us. Reinvent the way we Work & Live, Reinvent the Business Models, Reinvent the way we Meet People, Reinvent the way we Travel, Reinvent the way we do shopping, etc. For all the Corporates & those Individuals who read the writings on the Wall and Reinvented, survived, and are thriving. And for all those who did not Reinvent themselves, are facing challenges. I keep saying that in the last two years since the onset of the crisis, New Business Models/New Ways of Working/Learning/Living have emerged and the New Hybrid World has emerged. This New Normal forced everyone to Reinvent and change as per the demand of New realities to Survive. Whether it's an Individual or a Corporate, We are never too old/late to Reinvent Ourselves. In the uncertainty of fast-changing time...

Have Great Aim. Continuosly Acquire Knowledge. Do Hard Work. Persevere & Succeed.

This week I saw this video on social media in which a young girl is asking question from our Ex President of India Dr Kalam on the tips for upcoming generation to succeed in life. He shared with the young girl four things and asked her to repeat what he was sharing with her. 'First, I will have a great Aim. Second, I will continuously Acquire Knowledge. Third, I will do Hard Work. Fourth, I will Persevere and Succeed.' These are the Mantras for success. I keep telling my daughters and my Team to Dream with eyes wide open, and Dream Big. My Elder Daughter wants to be a Digital Nomad and Travel the world. My younger Daughter wants to be a Startupreneur like her Dad. In our Startup Jeevitam, when we launched the Audacious Project * Aarambh *, we decided to impact at least one Million Women/Girls to become Self-Dependent. We all should have a Great Aim. Because success belongs to those who aim higher and follow their dreams. One of the best things about life is that we never have t...

Hybrid is the New Normal!

Image
I have been traveling, meeting clients, partners in the last over a month and I have been enjoying my Meetings with everyone. Yes, meeting them in person is definitely different then meeting them over Google Meet. I think the personal touch which comes into play when you meet in person, the attention which you are able to get while you are talking to each other, cannot be done digitally. In the over two Years, since the onset of the crisis, forced all of us to do almost everything digitally. Meet over Zoom/Google Meet, Buy Groceries/Food/Clothes online, Teach/Learn Digitally, Do Webinars, Transact Online etc. We learnt everything new & online as we had no other option, it was important for our survival. New Business Models/New Ways of Working/Learning/Living have emerged in the last over two years. We are now very well aware of the best of both Digital World & Physical World, and combination of both the worlds, New Hybrid World has emerged. Hybrid is the New Normal. While I was...
